Here are a few of Mason's 1 year pics. My awesome sister-in-law, Eleanor, took them. She's pretty amazing, and so are the pics :)

Mason turns 1 + Idaho trip
The last week has been a whirlwind. We went to Idaho because my little brother returned from his 2-year LDS mission in Brazil. While we were there we did a lot of celebrating. Beware that this will be a long post, so if that's not what you're looking for stop reading now.
We started with the kiddos making a welcome home banner covered in hand and foot prints for Colby. I didn't end up with a pic of the finished product, but it was really cute.
The next few are from the airport and at my house the day Colby got home.
We had a birthday party for Colby and Mason. Here they are about to blow out the candles on their cake, and Mason enjoying the cake. Mike's mom, Brittney & Josh, and Dan & Amanda also came for the party. I didn't get any pics of them, but Mason is so blessed to have so many wonderful people that love him.
We went shopping for Colby, and Mason played on the toys at the mall and ate LOTS of food at Johnny Carino's.
We also had a baby shower for Eleanor and my cousin Alexis. I didn't end up with any pics of the shower, but I did snag one of me and Alexis. The gals made out with lots of loot for their new babes.
We also had a fire on the river one night because that's Colby's favorite place to be. I think Mason must be growing because ate a hot dog and a half (without buns), almost a whole tin foil dinner, and a few marshmallows. But he went wild, and loved being outside.
All in all, we had a lot of family-fun filled days. Mason traveled really well overall (although I don't want to fly by myself with him again anytime soon...it's hard work) We're so grateful to have so much wonderful family and we love you all!

Birthday Boy...Almost
Mason turns 1 in a couple of days. Since we'll be flying to Idaho on his actual birthday, we let him open his birthday package from Grandma and Grandpa Fry. Putting his presents back in the box was as exciting as pulling them out.

At the Park
Lately, Mason likes to play in the kitchen because he can play and see out the window at the same time. This kid LOVES to be outside. To change it up a little bit, we went to the park today. It's hard to catch him while he's smiling since he is usually running away from me. But, I got lucky with a few.
Out of the whole park, he couldn't find any normal size sticks to play with. The ones he packed around were more like small logs we could have used to start a fire.
He was also really amused by how much noise he could make by banging on the slide.

Copy Cat
Mason likes to mimic lately...or at least he tries. He's always loved cell phones. At first I think it was mostly because it was something that lit up. He has since figured out how to hold it up to his ear, and if I have the phone up to my ear pretending to talk to him, he'll put his hand up to his ear like a phone.
When he's playing out back, his favorite thing to do is carry around the watering can. He goes in circles, touching it to each plant as he goes.
He also ate a little dirt while he was watering the plants.
These next few pics are of him playing outside this morning. I can't believe how big he's getting!
