Veteran's Day Program

Hillview has a great Veteran's Day program and this Daniel was able to participate.  He sang some great songs with the other 5th grade classes.  Enjoy.

Happy Halloween-part 1

Around here we tend to have a couple of parties to go to so the kids keep changing their costumes for Halloween.  The first one was the church party-the kids were The Avengers.  Not bad for night before costume configuration.

Straw Maze

We are starting a tradition of going the straw maze each fall.  It's fun to get lost (at least for a while).  Afterward we went to Big Judd's for dinner and waited way toooooooo long for dinner.  The kids didn't understand the fun of Big Judds.  Next time we go back to town and have something faster.

Liz is 9

Hard to believe my little girl is growing up so fast.  She wanted a doll for her birthday-she's been begging for months!!  So we found this adorable one.  A few months before we found the cute dress with matching doll dress on clearance at Kohls and couldn't pass it up.  She had a lot of fun.

My boss at work also let us borrow his jump house for the weekend.  The kids enjoyed that very much too!

Dragon Dash

Last weekend our school had a fundraiser 5K and 1 mile fun run (Dragon Dash) for the kids.  I was supposed to be in my Phlebotomy class until noon but we got out early.  So I headed to the school just in time for the Dragon Dash!!  I ran it with David.  It's been a year since I ran a mile!  It was fun, even if I wasn't prepared to run.  Kaleb was one of the first kids in and the first one for our family in about 7:45 minutes.  Then Matt, then Daniel, then, Liz with David coming in at about 12 minutes.

Ammon Pool

The kids have been wanting to go to Ammon Pool all summer and we finally made it.  We had a lot of fun.  I even got brave and did front flips off the diving board (sorry no pictures-I was the one with the camera)
