And time marches on...
My boyfriend Cody and I broke up almost 2 weeks ago. Really difficult, but the Lord has blessed me with peace, more than I thought possible. I'm still living in Ogden with Grandma Connie, working with Jason and Tom at Summit Medical and now also with Dr. Wilson in Bountiful 2 days a week. Now that everything in my life has once again been thrown up and about like vegetables in a wok, I don't know how long I'll be staying, where I'll go next and what I'll do, but I'm trusting that God does.

It's about time!!!

Went to a Cocktail (Mocktail) party with friends from high school. Emily (Rhyner) Kornelis, Laura Rhyner, and my new friend Gina. Mostly just an excuse to get all dressed up. So fun!

Mom shaved her head this last month for my great aunt Laurie, and to show support for breast cancer awareness month.

This is the cute little cabin on the lake I live in. Charise and I were living together, but she's recently moved down to Arizona.

Mom, Buzz, Dad, Dan'l, Heidi, and Rachel the night we wrote "Madi, will you marry me" on the beach for Aaron's proposal. It was incredible, obviously the weather was agreeable too.
More summer
Summer 09
back row:Millie, Heidi, Courtland, Lisa, Papa. Front row: Alexis Anthony (my good friend from Colorado), Daniel and Dreamie at the 4th of July Parade.

We sheet-rocked the hallway and painted the living room and re-did the bathroom at mom and dad's, still a work in progress.

Connie and I ran the Mayor's Midnight Sun Marathon on July 21st. It was a wonderful run, long, yes, tiring, yes, torture on the bowels, yes, but wonderful!

Mount Redoubt erupted this last April, this was the best mushroom cloud pic I took!

Washington DC
NYC with Heidi and Buzz
We got tickets to Phantom of the Opera on Broadway at TKTS, for 1/2 price, about 3 minutes before the show started. We had to run to get to the theater and got into our seats only seconds before the lights went out. Great performance!
We got to meet up with and have dinner with Martin Jackson and his friend Javier. We had a great time. They are so awesome!

Steven Campanella was playing a concert this night, but because of transportation problems, and because he stopped the show early due to a cold, we got there minutes after his show ended. =( We did get to hang out and talk with him for a bit which was great!
NYC with Hans, Holly, Heidi and Kelsie
Christmas in Philly
Thank you Elsa, Blair, Jacob, Seany, and Sammy for letting us invade your home!!! I love you!!!
Elsa and Blair have this one on their blog, but it was too good to leave it off mine. These are Elsa and Blair's boys Samson, Jacob, and Sean and Hans and Holly's baby Kelsie. I'm pretty sure I have the cutest niece and nephews in the world.

Samson wasn't watched for about 2 seconds while we were making pumpkin pies, he grabbed the whisk and with his lightening-quick light-saber skills, got us all. Here he tries to stamp out what he didn't spray on us.
Heidi, me, Kelsie, Holly, and Hans at the place where the declaration was signed.

The giving of thanks
This is out of order, but I just found these pictures. I had a lovely Thanksgiving with Hans, Holly, Kelsie, Holly's sister Breann, her friend Kevin, and our cousin, Doug. I haven't seen him for years!! He's doing really well. Living in Too-son. He's applying for jobs as a guidance counselor for the deaf. Awesome! Our Cornish Game Hens were raw at dinner time, but besides that dinner was rockin! Breann made her and Holly's grandmother's homemade chicken noodle soup. Yummee!!! I made Hog-nose aka hog-nog aka egg-nog. Double yummee!!! Hold the rum.
I am MOST thankful for my family, friends, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What a blessed life!
My Precious
So here's a funny story... Hans, Holly and I started watching The Lord of the Rings the other night, the first time for Hans if you can believe it! When Gollum came on Kelsie started into a chorus of scarry, scarry, scarry, so Holly started telling her that he was kinda like a puppy. Kelsie heard him saying "My precious". The next day we were looking online for something and Kelsie started saying "Precious, precious?", so I looked up Gollum. When she saw the picture of him she squeeled "Precious" with delight! I think we should get her a little gollum and she can pet it's head with all 5 hairs!
Congrats Kathy and James!!!
My cousin Kathy married James Gardner on the 29th of November in the Mesa temple. It was so beautiful! I got to help with their reception which was at a friend's house. They had a bridge over their pool with white Christmas lights there and on the trees. Very classy, such a great ambiance. Really relaxed. People just lingered and chatted. I helped with the food, which had an Italian theme due to Kathy serving her mission in It-ly...Itly, what's my wife doing in Itly?! (Movie anyone?!)
Hans, Holly, Kathy and James. I'm holding the Precious.
