Thank the Heavens above!

Chris found a job! woot woot! We're both releived and thankful. I'm so excited have a normal schedule again but I'm a little bit sad, (a little bit) that he'll be gone 40 hours a week again... we had lots of fun times together as a family but it's time to get back to work! He's working in Meridian but I think we're going to stay in Nampa for Savannah's pre-school. Hopefully it all works out!

Till We Meet Again...

This past Sunday Chris's grandpa passed away after a long battle with cancer. I only met Grandpa Milich 4 years ago but I instantly loved him like I'd known him my whole life. Despite his pain and suffering he always managed to say something kind and amazed us many times with his strength, love, and will to live. I feel blessed to have known him for the wonderful husband, father and grandpa he was. I greatly admire the wonderful example of eternal love he has shown for our Grandma and Heavenly Father. We are sad to see him go but know the Lord is happy to have him home.
As for myself, this week has been many things. A learning experience, an opportunity to serve, a time to really think and reflect upon my own life, and a huge spiritual strength. Through the spirit, the Lord has helped me take much needed comfort in knowing that he is home, he is happy, and we will be with him again. More than anything, it has helped me feel closer to my Heavenly Father and strengthen my testimony of eternal life.
I am so very greatful for my savior, ALL of my wonderful family and this beautiful, but "temporary home".

One of THOSE days....

I swear my kids woke up on a mission this morning. A mission to make me question my sanity!

INSANITY:  Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.    ....yep, sounds like me.

For some odd reason, both of my children have decided to boycott naptime lately. I put them to bed, they get out of bed, I put them to bed... they get out of bed. Repeat x 10. I've tired everything. To top it off they're SUPER crabby for dinner, go to bed at seven and wake up at 4! Not sure what's going on here, but never again will I take my precious two hours of peace and quiet time for granted! Hopefully it's just a phase...

1st Day of Pre-School!

We took this on Sam's first day of pre-school about two weeks ago. She's loving it! She's made lots of friends and her teachers are really nice. I just think it's the cutest thing to watch all the tiny little 3 year olds marching into class with backpacks on twice their size!  We're so thankful we were able to get her in and excited to see her learn and grow!

I'm Back! Hopefully....

So I started this blog, then had a totally crazy year with no time to keep it up! Truth is, I'm still really busy but I decided I'm going to make time anyway. I  love reading everyones posts about all of lifes little adventures, (or episodes for those of us with kids), so I thought I'd jump back on the blog bandwagon and add a few more of my own!

For example, I walked in the bedroom yesterday to find Daddy and his two sidekicks all lined up playing X-Box. Of course their controllers weren't connected but they were having a blast! Uncle Kenton would be proud!
