what do you think. . . the next Norman Rockwell right?
this one is one of my favorite drawings from Danna. It was her first real time drawing mom and dad (drawn about a 3 months ago or so), I helped her with her letters/spelling but the rest she did on her own. . . genius.
Grandma Beva bought Danna an ice-cream cone necklace for Christmas that she wears almost every day. This is Danna's version, it actually follows the color scheme almost perfectly, from the sprinkles to the red cherry on top!
flower--complete with lots of petals
danna's feet (not traced) and a sideways heart. She's very very into drawing ' happy balentine's' hearts lately.
Okay, here she drew a tree, with sky above and grass below, a flower, and her head. At the time she was wearing some clip-on earrings that she felt needed to be drawn into the picture as well. I think it's cute.
Danna's all girl and loves to draw things girly. Here's a version of her rainbow (left) and a colorful butterfly on the right. Grandpa taught her how to draw butterflies while we were at his house this past weekend. She's a bit obsessed now!

These ones just cracked me up!
On the left Danna drew mommy as a pirate with a ponytail. :)
On the right she was practicing drawing teeth. She determined later that it was a monster. Notice her detail though, nostrils, ears, a tongue.
and you can see she was drawing snails all around her monster, stinkin' cute.
I think she's brilliant. . .
