Big 10th Anniversary!!

The saddest part of being separated while trying to sell a house was that our 10th anniversary fell on a day we weren't even going to be together.

Mike started working in Utah and I've been home trying to get the house sold so I decided to head down for the weekend and surprise him.

I made reservations, sent him a ransom note, called in and got him a day off work and took the bus down to meet him....

I made extra super sure than I did not use the word 'sexy' or 'hunk' in here anywhere lest his email reject it.... (long story from the past that was a huge flop) (so bad..)

The good news is that he got the email and was only 1/2 hour late due to traffic. whew!

We had ourselves a good time at dinner.

 and then went for a short hike to see the beautiful lights of Salt Lake City.

It turned out to be a fairly uneventful anniversary but we still have a pretty good ol' time together after all these years, and that's something to celebrate!
