Not a day goes by that Addison doesn't get out the crayons and create.... something.  Most of the time it is people.

Now if I could think of something creative to do with all this art.  We can't recycle it in front of her or we have tears.....  lots of tears!

Sydney is getting to be a little chunk.  At 2 months she weighs 12lbs and is at the top of the chart for height.  She is being a little more generous with her smiles, but still makes you work for them!  She is starting to talk to us and make lots of sweet sounds!

{ an apple a day..... }

{ Hey Youuuuuuu Guuuuuuuuuys! }

I hear this being shouted all day long from little Addie and it has to be my favorite thing about her right now.  She yells this when she is mad, sad, bored, in trouble, in mid sentence, in the grocery store, confused, or any other time she feels it appropriate.  I love it when she gets in trouble and is in mid cry/whine and just stops long enough to yell it out, it makes me laugh every time.  She truly is one in a million!

{ the cloud guys }

Grace and I were working on her homework and one of the questions asked what she would ask a famous person and who that person would be..... this is our conversation after I explained to her that a famous person is someone on t.v... etc...

Grace:  "um, I would ask the cloud guys."
me: "who are the cloud guys?"
Grace: "you know, the guys who tell us the weather."
me: "oh, the weather men!"
Grace: "yes, I would ask them how they know what the weather is going to be like"

I thought it was an excellent question...  I love those famous cloud guys! 
She also thinks that when Jonathan goes to play basketball that he is going to be on t.v., like the other basketball players!!

{ pumpkins }

Here are the pumpkins that the girls {Jonathan and I} carved this year.  The girls {Jonathan and I} love {a bit messy and takes forever}pumpkin carving.  They of course need a little help {Jonathan and I do it all} carving them.  But the end result is worth all their {Jonathan and I} hard work!  Addie {Jonathan} carved the kitty and Grace {me} carved the bats!

Here is Jonathan convincing Addie that a raw slice of pumpkin is delicious.  And since her recent motto is "try it and you'll like it", she did.  She loved cleaning out that pumpkin!

{ halloween }

 I felt bad when it was mid October and I had no Halloween decorations up for the girls.  So I decided we would just make some this year.  It is amazing what you can do with some scrapbook paper, spray paint, and glitter {of course}. 

We cut and hung some bats

We sprayed some flowers black and painted and glittered some pumpkins. 

We found this black bird

And we cut and framed a bird.

Cheap and easy! 

{ pumpkin patch }

I just go for the kettle corn and the entertainment of watching Jonathan pick out a pumpkin like it was a life changing decision.  Good times!

Grace found her pumpkin!!  And she won't let go of that kettle corn!

{ six weeks }

little S is SIX weeks already!!  Time is flying by......  She is getting chunky and growing out of her 0-3 clothes!  This is why it is so hard to set her down and get stuff done, it goes by too fast and you forget how tiny they were!

I forgot to post a picture of Grace on her first day of Kindergarten! 
Here she is getting off the Kindergarten "short" bus, which is her favorite thing so far about school......  the BUS!  She is learning a lot and making lots of books that she loves to read to us.  I am impressed with how much she has learned so far with problem solving and manners! 

{ Cindy??? }

I don't know if my girls can quite pronounce Sydney and so most of the time it sounds like Cindy.  We also call her Grace Jr., she looks like Grace did as a baby!  I tried to take some pictures of all 3 girls, but considering I can't even get the two older ones to cooperate for me, it was a failure....  Here are some pictures of all the girls.  Sydney is 2 1/2 weeks in these. Time to take her 1 month pictures already!

{ Introducing SYDNEY }

WEEK 1- so far so good.  She sleeps like a baby : ) and has only been waking up once during the night.  I'm not holding my breath that this will last long, but it sure has been nice!  She is so sweet and calm and we love having her in our family!  Welcome Sydney!
