{SWIM lessons}

Grace started swimming lessons this week. This was her first day and it was in the 60's, she was freezing, I hope she won't have to do too many in the cold...... come on sunshine! This time we are doing private lessons with one of the girls in our ward. I am hoping that Grace will pick things up faster and we won't be paying for her to spend 75% of her lesson hanging on the side of the pool!! She is so brave and wants to swim so bad so I think she will get it this summer!

Here she is swimming, she only goes about 1ft at a time, but she keeps

getting better every time we are at the pool. I love watching her swim!

Hooray for summer! The girls are so happy to spend their {sunny} days in the pool, now if we could just get the weather to cooperate more often!

We got to spend the weekend in Lake Chelan thanks to Jonathan's work. It was great weather and we had so much fun, nobody wanted to come home! Our room was fantastic, it was right on the lake and our room opened right to the beach. The girls loved every minute of it, they seriously spent hours collecting all sorts of treasures on the beach {mostly rocks and sticks}. There was a pool, hot tub, lake, beach, and two big beds to jump on, what else could they want! warning * LOTS-O-PHOTO's.

Here is Grace at her dance recital, they were too cute. She did such a good job, we loved watching her perform and she loved performing. The pictures are horrible, but I wanted to share a little of the experience. {Grace is on the left of the little boy in the middle}

{Little Grace}

Grace has her dance recital coming up this weekend and I wanted to get some pictures of her in her costume. She has a little friend in her dance class so her mom and I got some pictures of them together. Here are some of the pictures I took. { the boots were just for fun! }

Grace asked me for a piece of tape. I didn't ask why, I guess I should have. I guess she thought it would make good glasses?? It was funny until she pulled it off!

This must be her "sometimes dangerous" mustache.

{Other Funnies- or Scaries}

-While waiting for me to open the car door, Grace found a broken glass bottle in the parking lot and when I came to open her door she had it in her mouth!!! Yes, I almost pooped my pants too when I saw her!

-While eating dinner she says to her sister across the table. "Do you want to know your new name Addie? It's wiener!" Followed by her laughter as her little sister yelled back at her "no, I'm Addie!" For the next 5 minutes I tried to explain to a 4 year old that wiener was not a nice name to which she replied "yes it is, it means hot dog!" I told her she could only use that for hot dogs and certain little puppy dogs. She was so confused as to why she couldn't call her sister wiener.

-Grace can't quite say Hospital correctly, she tries, but it still comes out "Hostible". It makes me laugh, its pretty cute when she says it.
