{ snowmageddon }

The LA Times were making fun of us here in Seattle for our snow storm shutting everything down. It snowed and snowed. We don't plow here, we just stay home and play! We were snowed in for a week! Fun...... For the first few days! Here we are enjoying our time together. Sydney could have played all day in the snow, and eat it all day! I have some fun videos of the girls giggling and sledding.

Another fun trip to GWL!! I'm posting from my phone since most of my pictures are on here now! Sorry for the poor quality photos, but hopefully I can keep up this way! They were a little braver this time with the big rides, and we went with ten other families so they had plenty of friends to play with.

{ Addie is 5! }

Addison turned 5 just a few days before Christmas so we had a little celebration for her!  Since her Birthday is so close to Christmas everyone is usually home and we get to spend the whole day doing fun things.  This year we went to the movies and saw "Chipwrecked" and then we went to Build A Bear and let the girls buy a new outfit for their bears.  Addie was so excited, she bought a Chipmunk dress for hers.  Then we went to lunch.

Addie wanted pink green and blue decorations, and chocolate cupcakes in ice cream cones.  So we just baked the cupcakes in the cones and then frosted them to look like ice cream!  That was fun for me :)  She also wanted chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk, and chocolate sprinkles!  She also wanted some of her favorite berries.  It was yummy!

She also insisted that each person in her family give her a present, so I put everyone's names on her presents and lucky dad gave her the best present!!  Her ladybug nightlight, I will have to take a picture, she LOVEs it!  She also got some foam dress up dolls for the bathtub that were a big hit!

I can feel the stress already :)

One of my favorite things about this time of year is looking at all the clever peoples ideas out there and hope to copy one or two of them!

These are the cutest sock snowmen I have seen.

How about these?  I love these.  I may have to make this one.

Wrap books that you already own (Christmas ones if you have that many ) and unwrap one every night to read.  I already have my books picked out, the ladies will love this!

{ Great Wolf Lodge }

The girls and I took a last minute trip to the Great Wolf Lodge with some friends!  

Just look at the excitement on their faces!

As much as I hate to be in front of a camera (especially with pool hair ), it is something I'm working on!  And Grace is more than happy to take pictures.

She just wanted in so bad!  She loved all the fountains and she loves water.  The bigger girls were kind of chickens when it came to the rides, I got nervous Nelly to go on one of the big ones with me but she didn't love it.  She preferred the wave pool.  I'm glad they all had buddies to run around with!

Why I loved our trip to the Great Wolf Lodge.....  Not too far away, but far enough away.  Kid friendly Hotel and so much for them to do, the entertainment of the water park itself, the convenience of having it in a Hotel, it exhausts you children, they have so much fun, we were in great company!  Oh, and it was mid week and we had the place to ourselves!

Sydney LOVED her costume.  It was so fat and fluffy that she would just fall over and roll around and giggle and giggle.  She wouldn't let me take it off the first time she tried it on and she was not happy when we tried to take a picture of her, she was busy rolling around or walking around laughing at herself.

Look who found the black face paint!  Don't worry she got it all over the carpet too!

I had fun decorating for Halloween this year.  Grace's favorite was my BOO banner because that is also her nickname.....  she thought that was pretty cool!
