One hilarious Little girl, that Lila is.

I need to document a few spectacular things Lila has said in the past couple of days. I kind of struggle knowing how to write them out so just bare with me.

Lila and I were in the car when she was having a pretend conversation on the phone with her uncle Dustin. She said, "Yeah Dustin, Whitney (Dustin's wife and my sister) is here. She is a really good sharer, but she is not a very good helper at all."

I was meeting one of Jake's technicians in Salt Lake to give him some equipment and brought Lila with me. Lila asked who he was and I told her that he was one of Daddy's technicians. Lila then told me, "My am Cade's (her 2 year old cousin) decoration too, and Cade is my decoration, my Christmas decoration." -Said with so much sincerity, I think she thought she was saying something incredibly sweet.

Lila and I saw a very pregnant lady walk by and I asked Lila if she remembered when Launi was in my tummy and I looked like that. She told me she did remember and asked how Launi got out. I told her that the doctor took Launi out for me. She paused for a minute and said, "Why not you could give Launi wings and then she could just fly out when she wanted to?" It has been a while since a question has caught me completely off guard like that, but I thought it was too cute.

Lila has been struggling with staying in her own bed these days. She likes to climb into our bed at around 6 or so in the morning, where she then sleeps for another 3-4 hours. Last night when I put her to bed I bribed her with 2 of her favorite things, cupcakes and watching a movie. I said that she could have both if she stayed in her bed all night (6 in the morning is still night time to Lila and me.) At around 5 am she comes walking in saying, "My don't care about cupcakes and my don't care about watching movies, My just want to snuggle you." -this was not said in sweet way at all keep in mind, it was definitely muttered with some serious hostility.

Lila also told me that she can't wait to marry me in the Temple with princess Moroni on it. When I asked her why she was going to marry me, she said, " Mommy, Launi is not old enough to be married yet."

Lila got in the car a while ago, before Easter. I had forgotten to take out some things I bought from the store for her basket, plastic eggs, candy etc. Anyway, she had this look of complete shock on her face when she saw it and said to me, "Mommy! The Easter bunny borrowed our car and left his stuff in here." Oh how I love the imagination of our little Lila. She is a dream come true for us and keeps us laughing non stop.
