DADDY DAUGHTER DATES! Somehow I was able to have a daddy daughter date the same day my daughter went on her first daddy daughter date. So grateful for these sweet daddy's in my life. Happy day for daughters with so much love for their daddies. Now, if I could just say daddy, daughter or date one more time?

We loved being together.  We saw Meet the Mormons at Temple Square.  We especially liked swimming at the pool.  Sophia and Gabe are becoming independent swimmers.  Liam is working on his swimming skills.  Eva is just getting used to swimming in the cold water.  She preferred putting her feet in the hot tub.

Hiking Antelope Island

Hiking Frary's Peak on Antelope Island. 6 miles round trip and 3 1/2 hours. We made it back just before sunset with this awesome little crew. Go team Wiseman!

Disneyland Day 3

Now Old Pros at the land of Disney.  

We found our favorite rides and got any we missed.  We chilled watching the parade and eating ice cream too.  We worked on our button collections.  Dad's and favorite ride Tower or Terror. Mom's favorite ride Space Mountain and Cars.  Sophia's and Gabe's favorite California Screaming. Liam's favorite ride Splash Mountain.  Eva's favorite ride It's a small world (They were a bunch of small people like her.)   

When at Disneyland…

1-churros and ice cream are ok for dinner.
2-don't underestimate the power of the fast pass.
3-there is pride in passing the long line in the fast pass lane.
4-child swap passes save the day and kids get double the fun!
5-there's a balance in drinking enough to hydrate but not too much for too many potty breaks. 
6-there's power in taking a siesta in the afternoon.
7-never give anything of value to your baby. They may drop it and be lost forever. (Namely our only binkie ).
8-it's a small world is actually quite a long world with a small squawking baby, who just lost her binkie.
9-take food break right before parade and show times. Find a good spot for the show and eat.
10-7 years old is the magic age to ride with another child, 6 must have an adult.
11-take a fast pass runner with you. One who has endurance and logic to manage the passes.
12-try not to be the parent the whole time.  Relax and play in the rides with your kids.
