Just normal stuff

 Play time!

Making messes and more messes.
But most messes make for happy children playing.
So I will take that any day.

It's always fun to hang out just the girls when the boys are at school and work.
We made a special trip to the mall to check out the new play area
and get a quick snack favorite, pretzel nuggets.

Last week of swimming lessons for the year! Yay!
And starting in January the kids are going to be in the same class which will make it so much easier for me!

G taking her first trip down the yellow slide!
It took her three rounds of lessons to finally concur her fear.
So proud of her.

Family night with popcorn!

This sweet little angel had yucky guppy eyes all weekend.
She was a little cranky but she was getting molars so I just thought it was that.
Then Monday her eyes seemed to get worse and they were really red .
So finally Tuesday I took her in to the doctor and little did I know she had two ear infections and an eye infection.
I would have never guess it.
She was her normal happy self, no fever, no sleepless nights.
Oh how I love her!
She got lots of hugs and snuggles for me for being just about the best baby ever!

1 year stats:
19 lbs. 9 oz. (45%)
28.9 inches tall (38%)
45.5 cm hc (68%)

She happiest baby I have had yet.
She sleeps great!
Eats great!
Loves to play!
She is walking all over the place.
She climbs stairs too.
She can say "Hi" and loves to wave.
She can also say hot and Dada.
She babbles all the times and she thinks she is talking.
She loves to destroy what ever games her old brother or sister are playing.
She has certain things she loves to do around the house...
like getting into the snack cupboard, getting all the books down from the book shelf,
taking the DVD's out of the drawers, and taking the towels hanging from the oven and putting them in the drawer below. She does these tasks about 4 or more times a day. It's pretty funny...keeps her and me busy.
We are all love her so much.
She makes us laugh all the time.
Even the kids get excited when she learns new things.
She is a special person in this family and I am so blessed to be her mom!
 Love you C!

Little C is 1!

My little baby is one! We had a wonderful day celebrating our favorite little baby!
A traditional cinnamon roll breakfast...she didn't like it as much I thought she would.
But I sure loved her tutu highchair.

After school and while the girls were with Grandma,
T and I went out to get cupcakes and a little gift for C.
We made a stop at build a bear.
Where T made "Pinkie Pie" for C.
He named her, gave her a heart, made a wish and stuffed her with love.

And gave her a quick bath too.

It was fun and she LOVED her gift. It even sings Happy Birthday to her.
She loves to dance to the music.
I may be making a stop there again in a few months for G's bday.
She will love it!

C devoured the cupcake.

We celebrated her birthday on Saturday with a big party with family.
30 people...including 15 kids. It was crazy...sorry wasn't able to grab any pictures.
There was a lot of love.

 Happy Birthday Little C!

Birthdays, Snoozes, and Disney on Ice

D had a birthday shout hooray!
We celebrated with our traditional cinnamon rolls in the the morning with
birthday presents.
Then after work we got to go out for dinner at the Space Needle.
While my kids stayed with one for their favorite cousin's MC.
The food at the Space Needle was horrible, but the scenery and company was amazing.

It sounds so old 34....crazy huh?
Happy Birthday Love!

We actually did cake on Friday.  With it being a late date night on his real birthday.
But unfortunately the kids did not get to partake due to some bad decisions they were making
and had to have a early bed time.  This was the scene when we broke the news.
Crying all around.
Little C just was crying just for moral support I think...she may have scored a couple of bites from D.
Hard lesson to learn...but someone's got to be the bad guy sometimes.

At a playdate with a friend who has a new baby boy.
C got to check out the Mamaroo that she use to  love just a few shorts month ago.
I thought it would be fun to put her in and she what she did.
Ummm....yeah i think she remembered the good old days.
It took her all of 5 minutes to get comfy and take a little snooze.
(She may have been a little over tired)
Soo funny though!

Husky game with my Dad was great!
My love for the Huskies and for football was definitely pass down from this guy.
So needless to say it was fun to spend a night at Husky stadium with my old man!
They won too!

G's favorite place these days is the library.
She loves to read books.
She loves to go to story time.
She love to pick out a new movie each week.
She asks to go there just about every day.

Little C in her owl hat, made by Auntie Lesha.
This is in prep for her big birthday coming up....it is going to be a hoot!
Guess whooo's turning 1

Big event of the week was Disney on Ice.
The kids were excited.

It was all princesses so G was in heaven.
She loved every minute.

Little C got to stay home with Grandma.
And by the end of night T kinda was wishing he would have to.
He said, "there is not enough boy stuff". Which was true.
It was a learning experience for everyone.
As parents I guess we have to accept we may not please everyone.
And for T, he has two sisters he will have to do lots of girls stuff in his life.
He is going to have to learn to enjoy it.
He will get plenty of boys stuff too.

Princesses, Halloween and Art

G played dress up with C this morning. It was ridiculously cute.
I have so many hopes for these two and
their relationship.

I never had a sister but always wanted one.  I know having a sister doesn't automatically mean you have a best friend but I sure hope that they can be friends. I hope they have get along and have fun together. I hope they play games together, play dress up together, share secrets together
and do all the other fun stuff the sisters get to do.

Halloween 2013

We had a princess butterfly...

and a Dracula.
Little C was a bumble bee...but really didn't enjoy it at all. So I didn't get a picture of her.
But she was also adorable.

T had his first school Halloween party.  G and I got join in on the festivities. It was so fun to be in his class and and meet his friends.  They had a breakfast party, since he is am kindergarten.  There were crafts and a few games.  But my favorite part was this costume parade.  It was just his class that got to show off their costumes and all the other class rooms were called out into the hall to watch the parade of kindergartners in their Halloween gear. They cheered and clapped the little kindergartners were so proud...it actually made me tear up a little it was so precious.  G got to sneak into the parade too.

Friday we did a fun art project. It kept T busy for two days strait.

I love doing art projects with the kids.  Sharing one of my passions with them is so fun.

G really tried but I think her focus level is just not there yet.  I know she will really get into in one day.
So we just did it together (mostly me doing it her sitting on my lap asking when I was going to be done)

 Final products.

Saturday was long day at home, D was busy studying all day. It was a stormy day so we couldn't go outside and our cable and internet went out.  We knew the mall had a new kids playground that was suppose to open over the weekend. We went to check it out, but it still wasn't open.
Bummer...
So we got some yummy panda express to go went home.

Sunday we visited grandma and grandpa who had just gotten home from Lake Chelan. They had just unloaded their cooler and the kids found a new toy to play with. They took turns hiding in it and rolling themselves around the house. I got some cute video but I didn't load probably so this ended up being the only picture I got.  Oh well...who knew a cooler could be so fun.
