2 already??

My baby girl is two already! How did that happen??
It seems like just yesterday she was so little and dependent on me.

Here are a few random pictures of her throughout the day.

We had a fun time while brother & sister were at school.
Coming to get me!
She thinks it is sooo funny to crawl around the house.
I told Abigail I wanted to take a picture of her so she ran to this spot and said "CHEESE"
Eating a special birthday breakfast, cinnamon rolls!
Eating a special birthday lunch, mac & cheese!
And a birthday dinner. Sunday Chicken.
Waiting impatiently to open presents.
Her yelling, "open presents, my presents!"

Ripping open the present!
She loves this Lego Elmo!!
I made Cinnamon Strudel muffins for Abigail's birthday treat. Everyone loved them!
She is trying to figure out why I told her blow out the candles!
Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl, Abigail!! We love you!!

Happy Birthday and growing up!!

First.. Growing up. I am sad to say that my baby Abigail is growing up. She will be two next week and I have fought to keep her in the crib. The other two kids were in toddler beds by 18 months at the latest. The other day I caught Abigail trying to climb on the side of her crib to reach the light switch. We have agreed for safety reasons she needs to move in a toddler bed. After Christmas Savannah and Abigail will move in the same room and have bunk beds so it will be good for Abigail to learn to sleep in a bed girl bed before then... I am still sad. :(

Jake changed the crib into a toddler bed this morning.
She didn't take a nap today. We could hear her playing the whole time. At least she played quietly for two hours locked in her room. :)

On to happy news!!! Today was Jake's birthday!!! We had a fantastic day together as a family. We had donuts for breakfast and then got ready for the day. We drove up to St. George to run errands and eat lunch at Red Robin. We had a certificate for a free burger for Jake and a free kids meal for Abigail. It was great!!

After we got home Jake played some Guitar Hero and Savannah decided it was boring so she fell asleep listening to Jake play.
We also got Rock Band: Beatles today. Jake, Maverick & I played for awhile and had fun.

Jake isn't a big fan of cakes so I made a few homemade chocolate chip cookies and put a candle in one. We sang Happy Birthday and he blew the candle out.

Kids after we sang happy birthday!
Abigail loves singing and was happy to say cheese for the camera!

Happy Birthday Jake!! You are a great husband and father. Thank you for your efforts to support our family and for trying to put us first before everything else.
We love you and are very grateful you are in our lives.

Party/Food

While Grandma Melissa was at our house we had a little birthday party for Jake & Abigail since their birthdays are coming up soon. We had donuts, apple fritter type stuff, and strawberry shortcake. It was yummy!
Here is a picture of Abigail with her donut. She was happy as long as she could see it.
We were waiting for everyone to come into the kitchen.
She loves to say "cheese!!"

Even though Savannah is in PJ's this picture if from dinner tonight. Grandma Melissa left today and we had a very lazy day. This is a picture of the kids with one of the meals Grandma Melissa made for us to eat after she left.
I had never made Tatortot casserole before so this was a new dinner for us.
Savannah gave it a rating of 100 out of 10.
Maverick gave it a rating of 20 out of 10.
Abigail gave it a 0.
She had pancakes for dinner since she has a little cold.

Thank you again to Grandma Melissa for coming to help us!! We appreciate everything you do!!

Bugs, school and stickers!

You would think that because I am on bed rest that I would have posted more. Since school started, Biology is taking up all of my computer time so I don't feel like sitting here after I am done with homework. Here are a few pictures we have taken the last couple of weeks.

Scorpion in our front yard that Jake had to take a picture of.. Ewww!
Savannah's first day of Pre-school with her teacher.
Thank you Lori for taking Savannah to school!

The kids are having a great time with Grandma Melissa while I am resting. This is Savannah showing off her stickers. She thought it would be fun to put them all over herself!
