Fun changes

I dropped my Education class and I am now going towards a Speech Pathology degree. I am very excited about this. I really love kids and being around them but I did not want to teach a classroom full of kids. :)

In July I am going to be in school from 9:30am - 2:50pm Mon-Thurs so I will be gone from home at 7:30am - 4:30pm probably. I am taking English 102 & Psychology 101. I should be finished taking my general courses by Summer 2011 and then I will begin taking my Speech Pathology classes at Nevada State College!

I haven't been very good about taking pictures lately. The only ones on the camera are pictures Maverick and Savannah have taken. I am going to take lots of pictures this next week before I start classes and I will update then!! I probably won't be able to update much in July.

Pirate Island

I bet you are really wondering what Pirate Island is!! I will tell you! It is an awesome new themed restaurant not too far from us. You walk inside and you are moved onto an island full of pirates!! There is a fort, a tiki hut, and a pirate ship along with food & games!! It is almost like being at Disneyland. The food is really good and they give kids 2 free tokens for the arcade. We are going back for Maverick's birthday.

Happy Father's Day!

We celebrated Father's Day last night by going to Pirate Island! It was a fun adventure that unfortunately we did not get any pictures of.

We will be going back in July though and will take many pictures!!

Graduation and more

My baby sister graduated from high school last week and is now on her way to Germany. Keri is spending almost a month there as part of the German Club!

End of May/Start of June!!!!

Last Saturday we had a fun filled day! We started at 8am by going to the sealing of Amy & Jared. It was a beautiful sealing and I am so happy for them!!

We had to wake up the kids very early to get to the temple on time so by noon they had crashed in the car. We were on the way to visit my grandpa in the rehab care center.

Jake dropped me off and kept driving so the kids could get a nap.

The High School ordered a graduation robe for Jake that has his Master's colors on it.

He is very excited to wear it to graduation tonight!!

Congratulations to the VVHS 2009 Graduates!!

On a sad but also happy note, today was Maverick's last day of Kindergarten.

Savannah sleeping

Savannah seems to keep going until she crashes. It makes it interesting when we find her in different places. I have already posted the dining table picture and on the bus. Here are a couple of videos of her falling asleep. One is a video of the bus ride in Zion and the other video is of Savannah falling asleep on the stairs. She had come downstairs to get a drink and was "waiting" for me to take her back upstairs. I also uploaded a video of Savannah singing a new Primary song they learned.
