1st Birthday

It has been a year since Abigail was born. It has gone by so fast. I can't believe she is already a year old. Abigail is a great kid. I feel blessed to have her in our family and as a my baby girl. She is a mommas girl right now and I am loving it.
Unfortunately she woke up this morning with a little cold so we had lots of tissues, hugs and rocking today. It was nice to have her be snugly.

Halloween Preview

We are going to Disneyland for Halloween.
The kids picked out their costumes and decided to be matching skeletons!!

Baby Signing Time

Abigail loves her Baby Signing Time DVD (volume one). She lights up when the intro music starts. I am getting her the Baby Signing Time DVD (volume two) for her birthday. We had a lot of issues with Savannah before she could talk because of her frustration not being able to communicate. Hopefully with these simple signs we can avoid that frustration with Abigail!
Previews for Baby Signing Time 3 & 4 are at the bottom of the blog.

Not an innocent baby....

Abigail may look like a cute and innocent baby but she really likes to destroy and conquer.
She crawled up the stairs so that she could stand there and look down. I had Maverick go get the camera so I could take a picture without leaving her (once I found her....)

And here is a picture of her being happy because she is trying to destroy something Maverick and Savannah were doing.

Primary Activity

I knew I wanted to take my camera but I forgot it as we were leaving for our Stake Primary Activity. The stake put on a mini-trek for our Primary kids since our teenagers had gone on a trek in June. Luckily my friend Amy had her camera and emailed me pictures!! THANK YOU AMY!!!
The kids were able to pull a handcart over a hill, make butter, spit sun flower seeds and of course ride a horse!!

Being silly and trying to escape

These are from a few days ago but I figured I would post them.
Savannah is crazy silly!!

And Abigail would love to escape into the backyard but the heat would get her in just a couple of minutes! It will start cooling down soon (hopefully!) and then I can take lots of pictures of her outside.

Cookies and the Wii

Maverick has to take a purple snack to school last week so I figured making chocolate cookies purple would be the easiest way to go. A tip: Just because the dough is purple does not mean the cookies will be purple. I need to double the food coloring and see if that helps!

If someone is playing the Wii then Abigail must be playing with them!! ( That is her laughing)

Savannah wanting a picture taken of her!

And of course, all 3 kids playing Mario Kart on the Wii.

Savannah's first day of school

Savannah was very excited about becoming a "big" girl and going to her own pre-school. We had a count down calendar and when the day came she was ready!!

And very happy!!

She just wanted me to leave so she could continue playing with the toys!!

And the best part!! After school she feel asleep! Savannah hasn't taken a regular nap in a year. It was very exciting (for me anyway!)

Maverick's favorite part of the day!

When we ask Maverick what his favorite part of school is, he says "the BUS!"
