Another Year Come and Gone

Another year has come and gone. It's that time...time to come HOME! I have been looking forward to this day and it is with bittersweet emotions I write this post. We have had such a good time living in Pocatello. We have created so many memories as a family here in this town and I am so grateful for the opportunity and the time we have had with just our little family. I am truly going to miss it. Here is a collage of some of our favorite memories and we are surely going to miss this place!

Our most favorite thing to do in the evenings was to go up Mink Creek Canyon for dinners and to just hang out by the fire and relax. This canyon was literally 10 minutes from our house. Needless to say we spent a lot of nights doing this.

Another place we loved hanging out at was the sand dunes in American Falls. They were about a 40 minute drive. Seth learned how to ride his bike there and Mae got some fun rides in too.

The winters are so long here so we took the kids over to Outer Limits a lot so they could burn some energy off. This is pretty much the only thing in town geared toward kids. The kids loved to play while Tim was usually busy in the arcade being a kid himself ;)

I couldn't figure out why I was gaining so much weight living here...maybe this has something to do with it. We would literally go to Farr's Ice Cream every day. They have THE BEST ice cream and you get a large (cup full) scoop for a DOLLAR. Seth's favorite was Brownies on the Moon and Macee's favorite was Birthday cake...mine too. Tim isn't a huge ice cream fan, but would get Oreo now and then. We are surely going to miss this place!
Me looking rather large (6 months prego)
My kids have grown up so much this past year. I just love them so much and I am so glad to be their mom and share all these wonderful memories with them!  I have such an amazing husband who works so hard for us so we can enjoy this time together. Thanks babe!

While our time here is done. I am looking forward to going back home to my OWN home and to such wonderful neighbors and friends. I am also looking forward to being around our wonderful families again. One thing we are NOT going to miss is the L O N G car rides pretty much every weekend and the wind tunnel, cold, gloomy weather! Looking forward to having a Spring:)

Seth's First Motocross Race

We took Seth to Bunkerhill last weekend for his first motocross race. He did such a good job. I have to admit we were all a little nervous(except Seth) on how well he would do on such a large track with so little experience. He went around that track nine different time. Three times for practice, three times for his 1st moto and three times for his 2nd moto. That's a lot of miles for a little guy. He was so proud of himself and when he was done racing he says, "I did sooo good!."

The race results: Seth could care less where he placed. He was just happy to be there riding.

Here he is with his new dirt bike and his medal he got.

Unfortunately his bike didn't really compete with all the others because of the clutch and how heavy it is. So this is going to be his OLD ride....
...and THIS is his NEW ride. Maybe next time he can be more competitive. Not that it matters what place he takes. It will just make it easier for him to ride and advance. He won't have to shift and the bike is super light so he can pick it up and jump back on if he crashes.

INTRODUCING...SETH CHRISTENSEN
Here is some LIVE footage of the race!

Born To Ride

We took Seth over to the skate park the other day so he could try out his bmx bike. He was so excited to get out of the house and ride! He was cruising 100 miles per hour with a perma grin. Tim and I were laughing so hard. He did such a good job cruising up the jumps and half pipes. He loved every minute of it and honestly thought his two inch jumps were like 6 feet...haha (keep thinking that little buddy)! He is such a fun kid and we are so proud of him. When it was too dark to see in front of ourselves we decided it was time to go. THIS KID WAS BORN TO RIDE!!

This Man...

CAME TO VISIT US IN POCATELLO!

My dad called and wanted to come and see us before we moved back to Utah (Which is in 2 weeks!!). He took us out to eat at Ruby Tuesdays, which was delish! After dinner we went over to the Red Lion where he insisted on getting a room. We let the kids play in the swimming pool. They had so much fun and most importantly they created some wonderful memories with their Grandpa Doran. They were so excited to have a visitor. The next morning we went over to Jumbo's for breakfast, which was recommended trying out while living here. It was very good, esp. my plate size scone and homemaid jam...mmm!

Thanks Dad for taking the time to come up and see us. It really meant a lot to us all!
I love you!

21 Weeks and Counting

We had our ultrasound a couple of weeks ago (when I was 19 weeks along). It is always a good feeling to get that out of the way and know that your baby is healthy. I think I have been concentrating on that extra hard this time since we decided not to find out the gender.

Speaking of gender...Tim doesn't ever have too much to say about the whole pregnancy and I have been saying all along that it was going to be  a surprise. However, during the ultrasound he decided that he wanted to find out what we were having...what the?

Luckily the baby was being very stubborn and would not uncross its legs...so needless to say it is still going to be a SURPRISE!!

This sweet child in my stomach loves to snuggle with my placenta. Instead of shaped in a U, it is shaped like a rainbow and is already just like it's dad...camera shy. So basically there aren't very many good pictures.

Baby snuggling the placenta.

The only decent spooky face pic

Baby with its hands covering its eyes and face....this is how it was the whole time.

Here is a prego picture..21 weeks and feeling HUGE!

I get to inject myself with one of these lovelies once a day

Over all this pregnancy has gone really well. I haven't been sick or even that tired. I do have to give myself a shot of Lovonox once a day to keep my blood thin. While pregnant with Macee I had to do it twice a day so I am definitely not complaining. Not to mention this time around we have better insurance so it is only costing us $10 a month compared to $350 :) This baby is sitting extremely low and to the left side so yes my hips have spread and I look like a hippo. I have also had a lot or problems with my left hip falling out...ouch! The only cravings I've really had this time is ranch dressing with carrots and I can not seem to get enough milk!

I think it is going to be a BOY...but I guess we will see. Let's hope the last half goes as fast as the first :)

Happy Valentines Day!

Seth and Macee were so excited this morning when they woke up and there was a little Valentine's surprise for them. We celebrated the rest of the day making dad Valentine's cards and treats. We made cookies(earlier in the week), cupcakes and chocolate suckers. This is such a fun time of year to share some extra love.

I also want to give a shout out to my sweet Valentine, my husband.
I love sharing a family life with you, being your partner, your lover, your wife, sharing the closeness of our family life.
I love laughing about funny moments we've had, seeing how caring you are as a dad.
Being a couple and also BEST friends, and together solving the problems this crazy thing we call life sends.
I love supporting each other in all that we do and most importantly spending FOREVER with you!
Happy Valentines to MY sweetheart! I love you Timmy!
