Our grandson, Jackson, is seeing Santa Claus for the first time. He's checking Santa out to see if he can really trust him. Did I hear him say he wanted a PONY????
Okay, now I think Jackson is ready to get down off Santa's lap!
Jackson will be a year old January 27th, and he took his first steps this past week. He has been a very good little boy, so I hope Santa will bring him everything he wants for Christmas!

Thanks for your notes. We won't get to see Jackson on his first Christmas. They live too far away and they were here for Thanksgiving, so we won't go up there until Spring.

OMG Jackson did great for his first time. He is soooo cute. God bless him.
What a great Santa! He looks the part. How cute that Jackson had this first experience with the "Big Guy"--he looks so precious (and very unsure!) Three years ago our grandson, then 5, was with us for a Craft Show I had a booth in, and there was a very real-looking Santa there that day. Before our grandson had a chance to see him, my husband went to the man and told him his name and our grandson's name and asked if he would act like he knew him when he came by our booth. And the very accommodating Santa did just that, much to the surprise of our grandson! It was great!
