Better late then never...

Yes I am way behind on posting about Thanksgiving, between being sick for 2 weeks and getting ready for Christmas time has flown by. Anyway, we went to Minersville for Thanksgiving. As always the girls had a great time with cousins. They don't get to see them enough.

The girls got to make fun ornaments, Grandma always has fun crafts to keep all the kids busy. But they still run wild most of the time. Thanks for dealing with the craziness Mary faye.

Here is a picture of all the grandkids. Its impossible to get them all to look at the camera.
Mike's sister Holly had a baby girl Kayla Mae a couple weeks before Thanksgiving , isnt she cute?
Jackson turned 5 months the day after Thanksgiving (only 2 1/2 weeks ago but whatever). He has gotten so old. He is all over the place he never stops moving. He loves being on his belly, if you lay him down he always goes right to his stomach.
Emily loves her little brother, she is always trying to get him to laugh.

My little cutie pie! Everyone told me my little boy would have a special place in my heart and they were right. I can't get enough of him.
We got to do gingerbread houses with Grandma. This is a fun tradition that we don't always get to do since we don't live close by. But we love it when we get to.
We had a great Thanksgiving weekend, we always love going to Minersville and wish we could go more often.

New Moon and Halloween

Yes I was one of the crazy people that went to the midnight showing of New Moon. It was so much fun to hang out with friends and get ready for the movie. I loved the movie, they did alot better on this one then on twilight.

Brandee, Shannon and Marci. Shannon and Marci are so crazy about Twilight it was fun hanging out with them. Brandee doesnt really like the movies, but she is crazy anyway and is always fun to hang out with.
The 3 coolest people in the world, me, Brandee and Jackson. He is still attached to me and I guess will be until I am done nursing so Jackson came along with us. He did so good, he mostly played with toys and slept.

While we talked about the movie Brandee had fun playing with Jackson. She thinks were all insane for even liking it.
Here I am with my yummy blood. j/k I made these fun drinks for everyone.

I am finally posting about Halloween. I am so slow. I was going to get a better picture of my girls costumes and never did so I figured I better just post what I have.
Jackson was a cute little pumpkin.
Emily was a witch and Aubrey was a fairy. I made them tutus but you cant see them. I didnt do a very good job with the camera that night. We went to our trunk or treat then around the neighborhood a little bit, then we went to Brandee's home town of Lake Shore for their trunk or treat. They know how to do it out there. We had a ton of fun and froze our buns off.

Family Pics

First off my little Jackson turned 4 months yesterday. He is doing great! He is 13.3 lbs. and 24 inches long. Basically between the 25th and 50th percentile. He started rolling over on Sunday the 25th. He smiles all the time, but doesn't laugh much. When he does laugh its not really a giggle its more of a throaty sound. He's too much of a man to giggle. j/k Here is a picture of him and another one of him trying to roll over.

Last month we got our family pictures done. Jackson was exactly 3 months old. I just wanted to share some of my favorites and thank Christie for doing such a great job. If you are interested in getting pictures done and not having to pay a ton she has a blog link on the side, it's cheapshots photography.

Camping for the deer hunt
Last weekend we went down to Minersville for the deer hunt. We went camping with all the family for a couple days. The girls had so much fun playing with their cousins and getting extremely dirty. Here are a couple pictures. The weather was great and it was nice spending time with family.

3 months old and a new haircut

Jackson turned 3 months old yesterday. I can't believe it. I had a hard time getting him to smile for a picture, he wouldn't smile for family pictures yesterday either. I think he knows when there is a camera in front of him. He is so much fun , he is always smiling and trying to talk. He loves to lay on the ground, he is not a cuddler and doesn't like to be held much. He is a great baby and a good sleeper. We all are in love with him.

I took Emily to get her hair cut today. We were both ready for a change, and I am hoping that it will grow back in thicker. Here are some before and after pictures. She looks so grown up with her new haircut.

Happy Birthday Emily, and Blessing Day!

Emily had her Birthday last Saturday the 5th of September. I can't believe my little girl is 6 years old. She brings us so much joy. Emily loves to sing she's gotten a little more shy about singing in front of people but she is always singing at home. She loves her sister and brother although she does have her moments with Aubrey. She has had fun starting Kindergarten and meeting new friends and she loves playing soccer, she smiles the whole time she is out there. Happy Birthday Emily we love you!

We went bowling for her birthday, she is leaning on the thing that you roll the ball off of. Then we went home and opened presents and had cake and ice cream.

Last Sunday the 6th of September we had Jackson's baby blessing. It was a double blessing with his cousin Emma. It was so exciting being able to bless the babies on the same day, and such a spiritual experience. I am always so greatful when my husband can give our child a baby blessing, he is a wonderful Father and I am so thankful for him.

Aubrey started dance on Thursday. As you can see she was a little bit nervous about going. She had a hard time at first but by the end she was lovin' it. Hopefully she isn't as scared next week.

Grandpa Glad and salsa time

This weekend I went to Vegas for my Grandpa's 80th birthday. On Friday Jackson turned 2 months. I can't believe its been 2 months already.

Here he is at 2 months old.

He is already beating up his cousin Emma.

Here are some pictures from the party. My beautiful sister Heather with Aubrey.

Here is my Grandpa. Of course he is trying to do bunny ears in the picture thats just him. He is such a great Grandpa and has always been a good example to me. I always loved going to their house and going swimming. Grandpa was always telling jokes and playing with the grandkids. And he always sang the Miss America song when one of us girls walked in the room. I love my Grandpa and I am so thankful to have him in my life.

Last night me and Brandee canned salsa till 1:30 in the morning. I am exhuasted but we ended up with 73 bottles between both of our gardens. I just had to get a picture.
