Tea Party for 8..

"Palleeeesssseeeee".... grandma can we have another tea party?

"Why of course my little darlings"..
Sam and Emma my 7 yr olds. planned the funnest party for the little girls of the family.

Here we are about to go shopping!

But first there must be lunch at Big H while we did our planning..

Little girls had pink bears with princess outfits...."Build a bear" was our charity event at our tea party.

goody bags are a must for any successful party--for the older girls "high school musical notebooks"--

As they ate they introduced themselves telling everyone which country they were from with the accents to go along. They also told of their families. Some of our ladies had 20 children with 20 husbands and nannies and butlers to help out!!

We ate, we discussed manners, we built our bears and we played games. We walked the cat walk and shared stories and of course posed so g-ma could take lots of pictures..

Tender Mercies...

My niece was in a terrible car accident..Two cars collided and they hit her car. Do you think it would take a miracle to survive this? I do..She was driving and the only one in the car at the time.
This is my niece Candisse, alive with no broken
bones. She is still in pain but we are so grateful to have her with us.

Jesse returned home with honors from serving in the Chili mission. His Home coming
was Yesterday..It was one of the most sincere humble testimonies I have ever heard.

This is my sister Rhonda who's children are in the pictures above.
She is very blessed and so grateful. She also suffers from an illness that makes her sick to eat food. Her body cannot digest it. She gets nutrition through a tube in her stomache.

The Lord has preserved her life many times. To be there for her son Jesse and her daughter Candisse was a miracle to us. She is struggling with pneumonia at the moment, and pray once again the Lord will bless her.

Size doesn't matter when giving from the heart.....

I may not have been able to give my husband a helicopter for Fathers day. But I did manage to give a heartfelt one.


I ordered prints from walmart on line-- of places we have visited and pictures of our yard.

I then went to the store and bought note cards that were blank with the envelopes (zurchers). (4x6)

I attached the pictures to the front of the cards. I now have personalized note cards that I can use for weddings, funerals get well, or whatever..

I gave these to my husband because we both like to send cards. (who doesn't want to receive one in the mail?)

cost: about .50 a card--at the store $1-3.50

I made about 100 note cards...They are the coolest

The other gift Mark loved was his memory book. I also did this from walmart. (If you go to the camera bar) on the counter for free is a disc. that you download on your computer and then you can order prints from home, and make memory books.

My hub is totally into our yard and gardening. So I made him a book with pictures of our home and yard and garden. I found quotes that went with each picture.

Cost: about $20.00

Many of the other companies are more expensive than this. I was pleased with the results. I'm planning on making more note cards and memory books.

What a great present for Lance Sr.--to have his son speak on Fathers day about his experiences serving a faithful mission. Check out Houstons feet.. he is totally standing

on his toes..

Houston gave such a wonderful talk in church on Fathers Day. It was touching, spiritual, inspiring, sentimental, and funny. It definitely made you a better person for having been there. He went to the "honesty zone" and shared some personal experiences that helped make his testimony stronger.
It was awesome!!! congratulations Leslie and Lance for having such a great family of good human beings!!!

No wonder you needed a little nappie poo!! It's exhausting raising wonderful children.
