These 2 years have been so much fun. Lee brings so much laughter and joy into our home. We are so happy that Heavenly Father sent him to our family. He turned 2 years old this past Monday the 21st. Daddy of course made the Olsen family favorite icecream cake. It is always yummy and even better because I never have to make it. It was a fun birthday. I am surprised how much he actually understood being only 2 but he kept saying my birthday, my birthday.
He started out the evening as superman.....
and ended it naked.
What we love about Lee.
*He gives us a little reminder of his Grandpa Lee (Mark's dad) every day. I like to think that there is a little bit of his grandpa in his personality.
*He loves to hug and kiss me all the time.
*He growls at everyone and everything. Sometimes it is embarrassing but most of the time it is just so funny.
*He is always dancing and "shaking his booty".
*He loves to sing. Sometimes he makes up songs (mostly about Daddy) but he also sings songs from movies and commercials. He actually does pretty good and might even be able to carry a tune. Maybe he will inherit both of his Grandpa's love of music and talent for it. Mark says that it is ok if he is a choir boy as long as he wrestles too.
*He loves, loves, loves is big sister and follows her around everywhere.
*To him his Daddy is the most wonderful person in the whole world and I agree with him.
*He loves watching Daddy work with his tools. Anytime he sees a tool anywhere he says "Dadda's tools"
*I love that he is so sweet and loves to sing and dance but he is also definitely all boy. Everything in his hands becomes a sword or a gun and he always just assumes everyone wants to wrestle him.
*Most of all we just love him and his sweet little spirit and BIG personality.
Just a funny little story about lee I want to always remember.
He is always smacking my butt, probably because he watches daddy do it all the time. . A couple of weeks ago we took a trip to the grocery store. He is always such a handful at the store climbing in and out of the cart. On top and below it. It had been a while so my cart was full to the top so Lee had to walk instead of ride in the seat. As we passed one of the cashiers I saw Lee's hand go up but before I could stop him he whacked her right in the but. She jumped and turned around to look at him. I was so embarrassed I wanted to cry. She of course didn't get mad she just looked at him, laughed a little and said "you think that's funny don't you". To that he looked straight at her and said "ha ha". It's funny to me now because it is just so Lee.
