Rexburg Temple Dedication

I was in Rexburg a little more than 4 years ago when they annouced that there would be a temple in Rexburg. I was always a little disappointed thinking that I would not be in Rexburg when the temple was finished. Well, thanks to Marc I now live just down the road from the temple. Yesterday we were able to go to the temple dedication and see President Monson along with Elder Nelson and Elder Bednar. It was neat to see President Monson as the new prophet. It was such a great experience, we are so blessed to have a temple so close.

We saw every step of the temple being built from beginning to end. When Marc and I were dating we even trespassed and took flashlights and walked through the temple one night while it was being built. (I'm not sure if I should admit that)

Date Night!

Thanks to our single friends, we were able to go on a fun date Saturday night. We went and ate at Hard Hat and then played games at our place. It was a fun night! Here is a picture of Marc and Scott eating their ribs.

Outside of the restaurant they had an ice sculpture of the Rexburg temple. It was pretty cool looking...

Congratulations Brittany and Jordan!

Yesterday, my friend Brittany got married in the Idaho Falls Temple, to her life long crush Jordan Harker. Jordan was a year older than us in school and when we were young we were all in a singing group together. Who would've ever thought they would really end up together. They make a really cute couple. This is Brittany...not sure where Jordan was for this picture.

With the Super Bowl and the UNC vs. Duke game we have had a week of parties. Sadly, UNC wasn't able to pull off the win. After hearing all the trash talking between the guys, I became aware that in the history of the rivalry, UNC has won more games. Marc says that since the Tarheels won twice last year its about time Duke wins, or else the rivalry wouldn't even be worth watching.

You might think that Drew is a little confused about what teams are playing, but no...he just wears Boise State stuff every day! Just kidding Drew

Teralin has become famous for her bean dip (and her homemade snickers). We pretty much assign her to bring it over at any big event now. People were fighting over who got to lick the pan clean, and Teralin won!
