Little League Basketball

Jacob had two weeks of little league basketball. He was on Doug Savage's team and they all had a really good time. When I watched Jacob play it was really cool because I was very much reminded of Jared. Sometimes I think that Jacob is a clone of Jared. The funny thing is that Coach Savage kept calling Jacob 'Jared' during the games. Jacob would just give him a funny look and do what he said. Jacob was pretty sick during the last week and I told the coach to go ahead a take Jacob out more so until he could quit coughing and breathe. Coach Savage said, "But he is my only rebounder, if I take him out it would be bad." Good for Jacob.

First Track Meet of the Season

First Track Meet!
Just so you know I really like to go to track meets. The Cody meet was on Saturday and Mark did really well. He PR'd in both the shot and the discus. His 4 X 400 team took fifth, and I think he also had a PR in his open 400. It feels like mini family reunions up here in the Big horn basin because I get to see Margaret clear from Burlington. I hardly ever get to see Joyce and so it is really nice to get to see her at the meets. Betsy and Donnie came to Cody too! Mom and Bob sat through most of the meet and got to see lots of Grandkids competing and just playing around. FUN! FUN! FUN!

Sweet Sixteen

Mark's birthday was on the 12th of March! He just got his license to drive ALONE today. He is very happy. Friday night was fun because we had extra people over to share his birthday and the cake. Haley and Alyson McClure were over and LOVE to eat cake. Alyson uses silverware and Hayley said she didn't need any. Don't you love her picture? Mark is sporting his new Bulldog letter jacket while he is putting candles on his cake. Nice Mark. Jacob is having lots of fun playing with his food too. I think the best present Mark got was that Lucas came home that night and so did Rachael and Eli. Happy Birthday Sparky!
