Bento 111 - Little Bee

Though Ethan's School holiday has started this week, but he will be joining the school's holiday class for a week. The kids will have lots of fun activities at school.
So I still prepare simple bento for E.
Today's menu is his favourite macaroni and with a little bee made from egg.
You realised there is another picture of bread bento below.. that is for Little Miss E, she begins to show interest in his brother's bento. So I thought I can start making simple bento for her.
She love the Miffy and Minne Mouse cheese sammies so much that she even kiss the bread.. lol.. cute little girl..
So this is her first bento from mummy and my first double bento.
I can't wait to make double bentos for my kids when little Miss E starts schooling in 1 year time!

Bento No. 30 - Two Little Bees

I planned to make a cute Penguin initially, however when I place my nori sheets on the bread, it looks more like a Bee.

So I changed the theme to 2 little Bees..:)

This time i used my new colourful jewel picks for the nose and antenna for the bees..

You probably have noticed I did not add in E's favourite grapes, as he has running nose and some coughing for pass few days.

So I cut down on some fruits, gave him raisins instead.

Drop in few alphabet biscuits for the spelling Bee again.

Bento No. 12 - Buzz Buzz Honey Bee

Today my boy's bento theme is based on the artwork he brought home from school yesterday. The little Honey bee is adorable, I asked E whether he wants it for his bento tomorrow and he agrees.

Its bread and cheese again for his breakfast, I have to come out with other food variation for him before he is bored.

Add a few alphabet biscuits for a spelling Bee lesson. :)
oh yes, sprinkle some M & M treats for him occasionally, i have no doubt that he will eat all the M & Ms first in his bento.

I should have added some carrot or fruit flowers in the bento, will do that in future.

Brain not really functioning well as I am exhausted after work and Yoga class today.

I made the bread bento after tug my 2 Es in bed, I can concentrate more without much distraction from my Big E and Small E.
