grandpa georgie

cameron painted alisa's grandpa, georgie.
my favorite part of the painting is his eyes--they are so kind!
this first picture is the painting in process..............................

One of these days, my computer will get fixed and I'll catch up:( Until then, I have to record the cutest thing! Tonight while tucking Boston in bed he said, "mom, I will never say that I don't like you. I will never say that." Oh, I love that boy!!!

cheers

trying to get skylar to try new things, i talked her into doing a byu cheer camp!  she agreed to do it so her and sailor both went with their friends, sienna and emma.  the girls are the 4 on the left (sienna, emma in the back, sailor and sky on the front row)  they got to perform at a byu basketball halftime!  i knew sky liked it when she came home and pracitced for hours!

maybe someday skylar will be a byu cheerleader instead of a byu gymnast?!!!

bienvenue a' la maison elder wimmer!

morgan came home!!!  after serving a mission for 2 years in the south of france, we got to welcome morgan home!  we waited with signs and balloons......and we waited!
sadie was beyond excited!

after waiting and waiting, morgan's grandpa larry realized that since he was on a direct flight from paris, we would need to meet him over at customs!  so we all took off for another terminal (hoping that he wasn't through customs and wondering where his family was!)

luckily we got there before he did!  sadie was the first to run up to him
(traci & kendall had already met him in france)

smiles and tears were all around!  (one of the greatest things is seeing families meet their missionaries at the airport--notice the people in the background totally watching the joyous reunion!)

sage and morgan

brigham is now almost as tall as morgan!

of course brighton was a bit shy meeting morgan (for the first time since she was 2!)  (i just noticed boston's hand is on morgan's shoulder--so sweet!)
so glad to have him home!!!

the tough cutting crew.  mike, joe, ellery, andie, taryn, and jason.  yes, jason hiked through thigh high snow in shorts.  his legs were bright red!  i don't think he knew what he was getting into!
tricky jason!

kids, free of snow clothes, waiting for the tree to be tied on top of the car for the ride home!

a magness thanksgiving

somehow we got suckered into having thanksgiving at our house.  i'm not a fan of thanksgiving but it was a-okay!  we made it pretty low key and it was still a lot of work!  we were happy that gr/gr hansen came!  next year:  grand america, slc!

the little kids got stuck in the front entry!

2nd annual utah valley ping pong tournament

what a party!  joe held his 2nd annual ping pong tourney.  he had more players this year, more tables, and he even had a kids bracket.  vivint let us invade their gym which was perfect!  there was a lot of ping pong, a lot of treats, a lot of friends, but the best part was scott rees.  he came ready to play!!!

the golden paddle trophy went to brady wells!  his dad won it last year.  something about those wells boys!  nic anderson won the 16 & under.  practice, practice--the 3rd annual is coming up!

more pictures coming.................as soon as i move them from my iphone to computer!

"how"

my two little native americans had to dress up for preschool.  they are legit!

first snow of the season!

the first and kind of only snow of the season was very exciting to the twins.  they made a snowman but it turned into more of a snow tower!

notice boston's two different gloves!  and purple! santa hadn't brought new gloves yet!

reflections winner!

sailor, reflections winner again!  she took photos when we went on our race/hike and she won! such a talent:)

amazing

skylar flying through the air and doing her floor routine is one of my most favorite things to see.  this picture is from what is probably her last gym performance.  it was a fantastic ride and honestly one of the highlights of my life--having her amaze me every single time i watched her and also being a state champion! so so proud of you!

hippie child

i have a thing for little boys and long-ish hair.  if i could figure out how to keep boston's hair out of his eyes, i would keep growing it.  but, hairspray will only do so much (don't tell his friends that his mom hairsprays his hair!) i just had to snap a few pics--this is longest his hair has ever been.  now that i've cut it, i wish i would have kept growing it!  i guess we can start over!
