Family Camp

This past weekend, McKay and I spent time with my family up at Strawberry Reservoir enjoying the cool mountain air, family, fishing, bug catching, eating, reading, homework (yeah, McKay did homework, yuck!), hiking, and of course camping isn't camping without the kids playing in the dirt! We missed our two brothers though, Jared, Ricky and Ricky's cute family! We would have loved to see cute Sage, Hunter and Jade covered in dirt with the rest of them!
So we now know why most of our friends blogs have so many pictures of their kids...because kids are so dang fun to take pictures of! We are just trying to be like all of you...so here you go...

The Nieces and Nephews: Uncle Rod taking the kids on a bug hunt!

Our camp - Mom and Dad camp in style, the rest of us had our little tents.

Us - after a few days of camping, dirt and bugs we are still smiling

This is Cassidy enjoying chips for dinner.

We made the darling little girl in the dress (Raylee) gather all the firewood!

Fishing with Grandpa! Cassidy's had beginner's luck

Say Cheese Charlee!

Roxlan, the mighter hunter!

Ridge and Breck - the dare devils!

What happened to those clean kids earlier? (Trey, Raylee and Charlee)

Girls will be girls! (Cassidy, Roxlan and Raylee)

So that's how it happened! Who knew throwing dirt could be so much fun!

At least the little guy (Cache) managed to stay clean!

Thanks to McKay for taking most of those cute pictures. We are surely enjoying our new camera. We are still trying to figure it all out, but once we do...watch out! :-)

MS 150

So I'm a little behind with my posts, but a few weekends ago, McKay and I rode with our bike team (Zions Bank) in the Logan MS 150 bike tour. We had an absolute blast! Some of you may also recognize cute Heather with her pink handlebar tape there in the front...this was her first year riding with the team! I'm so glad she joined us, we had a great time! (Heather, you're an animal!) The only thing that could have made it better, was if Jodi were there too...next year we'll book your plane tickets. :-)

The Bachelorette

Clearly, some here are happy, some are not. I, for one was happy. I like Jesse. Though Jeremy was my choice from day one, I am happy DeAnna (how in the world does she spell her name...?) chose Jesse. I was in the minority last night at our Bachelorette party. In fact, at one point I was asked to leave the party...I know?! Can you believe it?
Most of the girls were cheering for Jason, but HELLO! Cheese-wagon! There was just something about him that was too cheesy. He tried too hard. Someone made a good point though when they said that Jason was cheesy because he has a 3-year old son. While that could have something to do with it, Jason would drive anyone crazy in time.
"De" (Jesse's cute pet name for DeAnna) will have a life of love and fun with a guy who she can enjoy doing things with. Now that he has her help picking out better outfits to wear, they make a cute couple! Best wishes!
