Moo Moo Chocolate Snowskin Mooncake
I've finally found time to make some snowskin mooncake for this year's mid autumn festival. I made a duo-coloured snowskin and thought it looked like moo-moo cows. Used store bought chocolate lotus paste and snowskin premix flour from Phoon Huat this time round.

Red Bean Coconut Jelly Mooncake
I've been making snowskin and baked mooncakes so far. I was attracted to this Red Bean Coconut Jelly and thought ... why not make it into a Jelly Mooncake?!
So...ta-da!

Five Kernel Mooncake (五仁月饼)
After the successful attempt to make my own Homemade Five Kernel Mooncake Filling (五仁月饼馅), I used them to make my very first batch of Five Kernel Mooncake (五仁月饼).

Custard Snowskin Mooncakes
This is another totally homemade mooncake. I've used Homemade Custard Fillings here to make what I would personally call these 'out-of-the-world' Custard Snowskin Mooncakes.

Baked Custard Mooncake
I had bookmarked this recipe the moment I saw Zoe's post last year. Finally got down to making this buttery and fragrant mooncake this year!
These baked custard mooncakes were very popular in Hong Kong since a few years back. They are so popular and received such overwhelming demand that online orders from The Peninsula, Hong Kong for limited edition of these mini custard mooncakes are sold out!

Piggy Mooncake (Baked)
I'm making a batch of these Baked Mooncake using cute piggy moulds especially for my girl. She has been eyeing the Chocolate Mooncakes I've made a few days back but as I've used coffee paste filling, I'm reluctant to let her eat them. So...to cheer her up, I'm putting my piglet mould into good use to make a batch of mooncakes for her and her friends for their upcoming Mid Autumn Festival celebration in school.

Walnut Mooncake (aka Shanghai Mooncake)
I used to love the Moon Tarts from Harbour City Restaurant at PSA Building (the restaurant is no longer around). I was super thrilled when my ex-colleague shared her walnut mooncake with me as it reminded me of the Moon Tarts I so used to love.

Coffee Walnut Mooncake
This mooncake is truely heaven for coffee lovers. It's so lovely that I don't think it should only be made during mooncake festival...plus, you don't need any mould for this!

Traditional Mooncake (Baked)

This is the second year that I'm making traditional mooncakes. I love eating these snacks and enjoy oooogling at the mouth watering pictures posted in magazines and food blogs. I never got down to baking them myself previously as I always thought it would be tedious and difficult.
