Ouchies Review

Every time my daughter falls or has a cut all it needs is a kiss and a band-aid. I'm amaze how those two things can make everything better. That is why I always make sure I have a supply of band-aids. My daughter is only 2, finding cute bandages that she loves such as Dora, Sponge Bob is easy. But what if you have kids that has outgrown those kiddish characters?

Well, you are in luck because Ouchies carry cool, fun, and stylish adhesive bandages. I was sent 4Girlz and Make Your own to review. These bandages are by far the coolest looking bandages I ever seen. They are colorful and unique. I would not mind wearing them! Olivia loves them too. My favorite is the Make Your Own design. It even comes with 3 small permanent marker. When Olivia saw the markers she wanted to play with it but since I really don't want her writing on the wall I had to hide it from her.

When it came, I happened to have a paper cut so I put one on my finger. These bandages is very well made. I washed Emma's bottle with it on and it did not came off. Other band-aids I've used just do not last long, when they get wet they don't stick anymore, but with Ouchies no need to keep putting a new one since they stick well and does not come off easily.

Munchie Mug Review and Giveaway

If you have a toddler you know exactly what I go through everyday...constant cleaning and picking up cheerios, goldfish or any other snacks on the floor. Once Olivia had enough with her snacks, she plays with it and makes a total mess. I own quite a few spill proof snacks for her but have not found one that actually works. Olivia always find a way to open them and pour her snacks all over. Sometimes I feel like she's doing it purposely to annoy me!

Recently, I was given a Munchie Mug to review. It comes in 3 different colors, blue, yellow, and pink. Since I have 2 girls I requested for pink ( I know pink again!). I have been using the Munchie Mug for two week and I have not left home without it. I finally found a spill resistant snack cup for Olivia THAT WORKS!

When I first gave it to her, she was a little afraid of placing her hands inside. But once I showed her how she took it right away and started using it. I even told her to shake it which she did. Guess what? NOTHING came out. I even teased her that she can't make a mess anymore! The soft fabric closure that overlaps each other is what makes Munchie Mug spill resistant.

It is spill resistant - (obviously) No more constant cleaning and picking up snacks on the floor. No more embarrassing moment when you're child makes a mess in public.

Very easy to clean - There is only two pieces to clean. Some may feel intimidated with cleaning the cloth but it is very easy. I washed it with soap and hot water. It dries pretty quickly too. Just pressed against both side of the fabric with paper towel. It is also dish washer safe using the top rack. I just prefer hand washing it. I've washed it many times and have not seen any changes of the cloth. It still looks brand new.

Very Sturdy - Olivia has dropped it so many times. No damage yet!

I love the size - I love that it has plenty of space to put snacks. I don't have to keep refilling it. It is great for long drives.

I love that it has a handle - It is easy to carry since the rim has a handle. And I love the the rim is high. If it falls on the floor the cloth does not touch the floor!

It has additional lid to keep snacks fresh when not in used.

Bottomline my daughter loves the Munchie Mug and I love it because it makes my day a little easier. Of course she finds other ways to make a mess. Like the other day I saw her taking out cheerios one by one from her Munchie Mug and putting them inside her dad's shoes! But at least it is not as bad as pouring a whole bunch of cheerios everywhere! I guess that's what I get from challenging her that she can not make a mess anymore with the Munchie Mug!

I don't know any little girls who doesn't like putting make up or painting their nails. Olivia is only 2 and already loves to have her nails painted. Sometimes I wonder where she learned it from. I usually do not paint my nails. I know one day (I hope not any time soon) she will ask for nail polish and make-ups on her birthday or Christmas. I was sent a bottle of Girls Rule nail polish and a bottle of nail polish remover to review. I opened it immediately to smell it. Both nail polish and nail polish remover has a very mild odor compare to other nail polish I've used. The smell did not bother me at all unlike others I've used. Olivia was so happy that I painted her finger nails since I usually only let her toe nails painted. I even painted my own nails. I like that the brush is small, perfect for painting tiny fingers.

If those cheap nail polish can eat through a foam plate, imagine what it can do when your child digest it?!? Being a frugal mom, I don't buy every thing organic, non toxic or BPA free products but there are certain things that I would buy that are and Piggy Paint is now on that list. If you are not willing to spend that much for a nail polish, I highly recommend not letting your kids paint there nails specially their finger nails!
