Happy Halloween Printable!

I decided to make a Halloween printable for my house.

And then I thought, why not share it with my readers?

Lucky you!

I just started decorating my house for fall, and what is a little fall decorating without some Halloween decorations?

I made it as an 8x10 and printed it out at Walmart's one-hour photo.

I love fall!  So excited for the air to get a little cooler {ahem, the air is already getting cooler!}.  Making pumpkin cookies and baking yummy treats.  Love it!!!

Girl's Camp Fun!

Last week, I was at Girl's Camp for my church.

Don't know what I'm talking about?  You can read about it HERE.

I'm the Young Women's President in my ward (again, have no idea what I'm talking about?  You can learn more HERE or HERE) so I had the pleasure of attending Girl's Camp this year!

The theme of Girl's Camp was "Happily Ever After" based on a talk by President Uchtdorf (you can read the talk HERE - it is awesome).  It made for such a fun Girl's Camp!  It had a sort of princess/fairytale feel.

I made some tags for the girls so they knew where they were going to sleep - we had cabins that we stayed in and wanted to assign the sleeping arrangements so nobody was left out.  I made these fun tags in Photoshop, printed them on cardstock and wrote each girl's name on them:

I gave a class during "Charm School" on the part of the talk where President Uchtdorf talks about "Maps".  I made this handout in Photoshop to go with it:

 

I made them so I could print off two per page.

Girl's Camp was such a blast and such a testimony building experience.  The young women loved it, too.

The last day, we went repelling!  It was the first time I had ever done it and I'm so glad I did it.  I felt so brave.

Easter Printable {Part 2}

I know, I know, Easter is tomorrow . . .

BUT, I have another wonderful printable that I wanted to share.  

I will actually have this up in my house even after Easter, but it was inspired by the Easter holiday, so I am calling it an Easter printable :)

Easter Printable!

I decided it was time to do another printable!

Since it is Easter, I wanted to do a religious printable.

After all, the whole reason we celebrate Easter is to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  And I don't have any religious decorations for Easter.

So here is the printable!

I made it as an 8x10.  Just right-click to save it to your computer.

I usually download mine to Walmart.com and pick it up at my local Walmart, but for some reason my Walmart was having problems and wasn't letting me order it for the 1-hour photo printing :(

So I don't have any pictures of it framed.

I made it in three other colors:

I'm finally getting started on my Valentine's Day decor!

I feel like I'm behind on the game - I've already seen some amazing Valentine's projects out there in blogland!

To kick off my Valentine's posts,

Snowflake Vinyl

I bought some snowflake vinyl a few years ago at a vinyl party.

I've kept it, trying to decide what to do with it.

This year, I finally put it to use!

Here are my projects:

Let's start with the tins.

Cute, right?  But I wanted to do something different because I have so many of them.

So I used a little primer and some red spray paint.

I put the vinyl snowflakes on the lid and tied some white tulle, along with some festive ribbon around the base.

I love how they turned out!

These would be perfect filled with some goodies for neighbor gifts!

I still had some vinyl snowflakes left, so I decided to do another project!

I got an 8x10 frame at the Dollar Tree.  

Using the same red spray paint I used for the tins, I spray painted the frame.

Then I came up with a fun little printable on Photoshop!

I wanted something colorful and fun - this is what I came up with:

Then I put the vinyl snowflakes on the inside AND the outside of the glass to give it a little bit of dimension:

Put the frame together with the printable and you have this:

Love how this one turned out, too!

I'm off to wrap some presents - not leaving them all for Christmas Eve like I did last year!

Free Christmas Printable!

I have a lot of fun Christmas decorations.  

In fact, I {love} my Christmas decorations!

But as I was looking around my house last week, I realized that the only Christ-centered decoration I have is my nativity {which I love}.

So, I decided to make something special that has to do with Christ, the whole reason we even celebrate Christmas.  And I want to share it with you!

I'm planning on downloading this to Walmart.com and making a few copies for Christmas presents.  Of course, I'll be picking up some picture frames at the thrift store to paint and distress.  They will be the perfect fit for this printable :)

Give Thanks - Free Printable!

 Happy Harvest!

 I've been learning how to use Photoshop Elements.

{Photoshop CS3 is a whole other story!  Someday I'll find the time to sit down and really learn it}

 I don't have many harvest decorations so I wanted to make something fun for the month of November.

I decided to share it with you!

I'm no Photoshop Elements expert, but I like how it turned out.  Feel free to download it and print a copy off for yourself!  And I'd love to see how you display it!

I made this wreath last month (I got the idea for the wreath from somebody's blog and CANNOT remember who's!!!  I like to give credit to people when I use their idea's) and wanted to be able to use it through Thanksgiving.  I had a "Trick or Treat" sign hanging in the middle for Halloween.  I needed something Thanksgiving-y for November.

So, I made the image in Photoshop Elements, printed it off at WalMart's 1-hour photo center and went to work to find a frame.  

I found this one that I already had but hadn't been using - I'm pretty sure it's from the dollar store:

It was silver.  I wanted a little bit of color so I spray-painted it a turquoise-ish color (I like the words I'm making up - Thanksgiving-y, turquoise-ish . . .) to match the turquoise in the image.  Krylon Blue Ocean Breeze spray paint, to be exact.

Hmmm . . . it looks baby blue in this pic . . . anywho.  I stapled some brown sheer ribbon to the back and hung it right on my door hanger.  

I love that I can use the same wreath for different holidays just by changing out an accessory!

And yes, I know the picture is in the frame a little crooked.  It was straight when I put it in!

It was just what I was looking for.

PS - I made the wreath for about $4.  I got a twig wreath from the dollar store and the fabric from WalMart's dollar bins.  The burlap was probably the most expensive thing about the wreath.  Love it!
