Dust.

In a world that fades, they say that memory is all that we have. But we all know that memory is not a reliable thing.

There are some memories that constantly put us at a crossroad, not knowing if we should step back or move forward. The thing with unfinished businesses is that it leaves us hanging, on the verge of the cliff, and not realizing if jumping off would be a good thing or not, or staying put will save us from all our troubles.

But the thing with life is, it will go and it will not wait for you and me, including our hang-ups. No matter how swollen one thinks his ego is, or how bruised his feelings are, the world will still continue to move. And in that movement, one might be left behind with nothing but the dust of jaded memories.

I think I do have the strength to let go. It’s the act of finally deciding that scares me.

  1. Glad to know I'm not the only one approaching the crossroad.

Whatever your decision, I wish you happiness.

  2. Yes, but sometimes all a person needs to do is to take the risk.

  3. If you have the strength to let go, then I believe you have the same amount of strength to make that decision and take that leap. Make it happen now. :)
