First Haircut!

Gray crossed one more First off his list last week. And no, not his First Chiefs Super Bowl. It was his First Haircut!! He did a great job, after we gave him a cell phone for entertainment! Here are some pictures of the before, the during and the after.

Ice Cream Social

OK, some neighborhood ice cream socials have hot dogs, pizza and ice cream with an appearance from a fire truck. Well, we had all those things plus a guy with reptiles (or amphibians?..maybe both). So here are pictures of Lindsay and Gray touching boa constrictors and a big turtle. Notice Andy does not appear in these pictures.

Big First

First words, first day of school, first kiss, first Chiefs Superbowl. These are some firsts that Gray has not experienced (the Chiefs Superbowl is one he never will, I am sure!) But, as of this weekend, Gray marked one big "First" off his list-- First steps. Mommy and Daddy were both there as he was playing with Daddy's cell phone, pulled himself up to a stand and took three teensy tiny shuffle steps before falling over. We did not catch the real deal on camera, but here are a couple of videos of him standing with the phone.

OK, so the blog doesn't have to be just about Gray, right? Recently, Andy and Linz went to a wedding, and there is documented proof of the two of us NOT lounging around in sweatpants for once!! We clean up nice, huh?

Brewers fan

Gray is too young to realize that the Brewers are horrible, so he is not yet embarrassed to be seen wearing Brewers gear! (But, even at 9 months he is still smart enough to know NOT to wear Royals stuff). Here are some pictures of him wearing his new Brewers hat that Mommy got him, and just generally having fun with Aunt Kristin.

Wow, has it almost been a month since we posted something to the Blog??? We apologize!!! To make up for it, we plan to do a few postings today. Lately Gray has entered a phase of Eating Rebellion.
