Winner of "Name My Shop" Announced!

Wow, thank you for joining in my little contest! I was so impressed by all of the very clever names you came up with! It was actually a tough choice because they were all so good! I was mulling them all over and over and kept coming back to this one:

Drum Roll............."Yesterdaisy" submitted by Megan!

Yay Megan! Email me at amysumrall@gmail.com, the size and color choices for your custom skirt along with your address!

By the way, Megan also happens to be the owner of Shabby Blogs, which I used to design my little bloggy. Be sure to check her site out, it's free!

The random winner of a market bag is...... Nikki! Yay! Please email me your address, Nikki!

Thanks again to all of you who played along, you guys rock!

Name My Shop and Win!

I've been busy, busy sewing up some new skirts and market bags! I am preparing to sell them at our local crafts and antique market and also on etsy. Problem is, I need a catchy name for both! Here's a sampling of the goods:

Small Market Bag

Apron Ruffle Skirt Front

Apron Ruffle Skirt Back

Apron Ruffle Skirt Detail

Yellow Apron & Bow Skirt Front

Apron & Bow Skirt Back

I need to get some more items photographed when it's not raining!

All of the items I will be selling will be made from vintage fabrics, mostly sheets and hankies. Therefore, I was thinking something along the lines of The Vintage Linen Closet... but "meh"... some thing better than that. Cute, Whimsical, Vintage, Handmade are all ideas I want to express in the name.

Here's where you come in! Would you like to win a skirt like one of these, but custom made for your child, grandchild, little friend, or heck, I can even make one for YOU to wear! You pick the style (ruffle apron or bow apron) and post your clever name for my shop here! I will make one of these skirts for you in your choice of colors and size if your name is chosen! (Allow two weeks.)

It get's better!!! I will also take ALL of the comments and randomly choose one winner to receive a vintage sheet market bag! You may post one comment for each of the following:

1. submit a name idea
2. become a follower
3. post a link to this contest on your blog
4. tweet about it
5. Face Book about it

Just provide a link to the mention in your comment!

Thanks for playing and good luck!

GP Guest Stuff, Collabs Gallore and Win $20!

So much to tell you about, and so little time! That's because for the past several days my internet has been out way more than on. It will go out for 3 hours and come on for 5 minutes and then go out again, so excuse any typos in this post, I must type fast!

I am loving this collab with Cherie Shields, it is so fun and the preview does not do it justice. I know because I made the preview and I suck at making previews. (LOL) This kit was also featured in The Artisan Notebook! Woot! (All images are clickable)
Then there is this totally yummy Fruit Salad Collab with Kristin Aagard and Liz of Sweet Digi Scraps. Again, massive kit, big bang for your buck with this one! Don't forget, we each have coordinating freebies on our blogs too!
Last but not least, my Dr. Suess inspired collab with my girls, The Polka Dot Plums, is now available ONLY at Gotta Pixel and ONLY this month! So doodleful and cutieful, youville love it! Har har. Again, it is ginormous! Over 100 elements! Whoa.

Now, all of these kits are great and as I have mentioned, really great value, but how would you like them ALL FOR FREE??? You can win $20.00 to my Guest Gotta Pixel Store by heading over to DSA and posting in this thread. I believe they pick a winner tomorrow, so hurry! MWAH for now!
