Feelin Crafty!

Well, I hope everybody had an awesome Easter! I think it's my favorite holiday. There isn't so much commercialism it destroys the real meaning of the holiday. I'm so grateful for my Savior and his Atonement!
Anyway, my cousin sent my girls THE CUTEST little crocheted teddy bears! The girls love their bears so much, they take them everywhere they go. You can see one here in the picture below.

Well...I wanted to make my own because they were just so stinkin cute! My cousin told me about the free pattern found HERE. I decided to try making a bunny for one of my daughters friend's birthday. I have to say...

I think it turned out great, but I'll let you be the judge ;)

My Tiny Dancer

My tiny dancer was supposed to have a fun holiday party for her dance class, but it was cancelled due to this BLASTED weather! Snow and ice EVERYWHERE! I spent a good 2 hours making cute little hair clips for her present to give(she has one of them in her hair...isn't it just the cutest!). Good thing they are still having the party when we come back in January! Anyway, she was all dressed up with nowhere to go, so I whipped out the camera and did a photo shoot in the dining room. She was so happy! Awe...isn't she sweet?

He Lives

I didn't have time to post this weekend. We hung out at our new house the whole time. Yesterday morning, when the girls woke up, we went into the empty office and closed the door. Spence whipped out a picture of the Savior and proceeded to tell AVJ about why we celebrate Easter. We bore our testimonies to her that Jesus suffered and died for us because he loves us, and that HE LIVES. Then we hung up our picture of Jesus in our new home and dedicated it so that our home would be a place of peace, a shelter from the world, and a place for the spirit to dwell.

So, I went JoAnn yesterday. Just looking for nothing in particular. I found these funny little lip buttons and knew I had to put them on a little felt shamrock. But, I didn't make it big enough to put a hair clip on the back and...I felt like it needed a little something else. So, I went to Target this morning and saw some rainbow socks for $1, cut them up and made a yo-yo to put on the back. Pay no attention to the quality of the picture..I had to go where the light was. What do you think?

i love this little girl. she drives me nuts and fills my heart with love all at the same time. when i look at her...i don't have words for the feeling, but its like i see the her how God sees all of us.

These cute little stinkers will be the end of me! Poor AVJ has the pukes tonight. I feel so bad for her. She's a trooper though. ANYWAY! I'm using these cute little shots to make some valentine cards this year. Aren't they just adorable?!

Oh, the Weather Outside is Frightful...

...and we are stuck inside wearing our snuggly fleece. The last couple of days have been really cold...really cold! 12 degrees and -5 with the wind chill cold! I think it's too cold to snow! Anyway I thought I'd take a few pictures of the girls. This is the most cooperation I've gotten out of either of them in a LONG time...and I still wish I could have gotten just a little more. Oh well! Aren't they angels?
