My project is a Polar Bear... for the first one.. it is on a easel card.. this is a card I made previously  because for some reason my pictures wont go on the computer.... so here is my polar bear..- its from Joys Of The Season.. one of my favorite all time cricut carts..

and if you will come back and see me after 10am I will have the other pics up also because I will go use another computer...

This was not the project I wanted to do, but just couldn't not do the hop...
This is an owl from Create a Critter which is a cart i also could not live without...

Festive Friday Blog Hop

Here we are again making Christmas cards for Christmas! Think of all the cards I will have ready!
If you came here from Maria's blog you are in the right place, but if you just happened upon my blog and this hop then hop over to Terri's blog and start from the first.
I made two cards for today hop.. the first one is using die cuts from tim holtz.. love his stuff...the pinecone die and Noel 25 .. I put stickles all over the Noel 25 .. rolled up my pinecone...used marker to make score marks all around and its done..;

the next card I used my new Art Philosophy cart from CTMH and used the christmas tree stamp and the sentiment on that stamp set... this took less than 10 min to make.. it was an experiment... very simple but cute I think.

  Welcome to our Mardi Gras parade. I must warn you though while you may enjoy jumping up to catch beads, doubloons, cups, stuffed animals--whatever! Please yell at the float riders "Throw me something, Mister!" Bring a large, sturdy plastic or cloth bag to hold all the treasure you'll be catching - if you try to put allof your beads around your neck, you'll have a hard time standing up straight! Be prepared: some people get so overcome with excitement they will occasionally jump in front of you to grab what a rider has thrown to you. Don't get into a tug-o-war....there are many more floats on the way! If you're from far away, some visitors hold up a sign saying where they are from.. our local riders love to see people from far away have a good time and will throw to them to make sure they do!
   
  The colors of Mardi Gras are: Purple which reprsents justice; Green which represents faith; and Gold which represents power.Mardi Gras is always held the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is music, parades, picnics, floats, excitement ... and one big holiday in New Orleans! Everyone is wearing purple, green, and gold; and adorned with long beads caught from the beautiful floats. They sit on the ground throwing balls, playing music, having a picnic, and watching the crowds walk by between parades.

  I printed most of my project off the internet and then colored and stickled them... I wanted to host a mardi gras party so found a good menu to use.  The menu includes Chicken Gumbo, Mock Turtle Soup and of course King Cake which I am told is a MUST for a Mardi Gras party.A big part of mardi gras is masks so I made a couple of masks for you. 

  Then today my neighbor came downstairs when I was taking pics of the whole thing she said you need to do "boobs" . The Paper Girls Challenge Blog- 1st Challenge

The Paper Girls are having their first challenge... you have till tonight at midnight to submit a layout...

I used all CTMH papers. Twine from the twinery... flowers with bling from my stash...ribbon from Walmart I got after Christmas...thickers also...

The pic is my youngest daughter Emily and my niece Vail. They always say they are twins.. When Em was Vail's age she looked just like Vail..  I have a write-up for the left side just didnt want to put it on yet and I am also going to add FUN to the banner but am not sure yet...

This is a 10 minute card... torn, patterned paper, some ribbon from my stash, stickles and voila!

Love To Create Challenge

I will be back for more goodies.. I had fun colouring this image..gp jeans.
I used copic markers. I  also used some paper from my stash.. all the shapes are from my cricut.                                                                            Of course I had to put some bling on it.

Guest Designer for Her Craftiness- Lynne Kirsh

I made a Center Stair Step Card for a class I did on Saturday at Up The Street in Strathroy.

  Cut cardstock 5 1/2 by 11. 

Score cardstock at 1inch and 6 1/2 inches.

I inch in from the edge cut between the 1" line and the 6 1/2" line.

Score at 2" but only on the outside of the cuts.

Score again at 5 1/2" but on the inside of the cut..

I found it easier to do the 1"score and 61/2"score then cut 

then do the remaining scores.

The 1inch is a mountain fold.. two inch is valley fold..

both 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 inches are mountain folds...

Decorate ....

I used paper from Up The Street..

Its double sided paper and I used both sides.

Present is cut using imagine and Yummy.

Celebrate and flourishes done with Expression and Tie the Knot.
