It's a Little Noisier Around Here

Cody has started piano lessons.
His first lesson was Monday.
So far so good.
He came home from is lesson and practiced for 30 minutes.
His piano teacher is Liz Jeffery.
She lives right behind us.
Liz said that he was her best 1st time lesson ever!

Today, while I was doing homework with Steven
I was also listening to Cody practice and it truly warmed my heart!
I really have been blessed as a mother!

All of Us at 4 Months

I wanted to see the similarities and differences between my 6 children
(wow! every time I say 6 it still BLOWS my mind)
So I decided to post their 4 month pictures

 Cody (4 months)
 Steven (4 months)
 Luke (4 months)
 Kyle (4 months)
 Jack (4 months)
 Lia (4 months)
 Mom (4 months)
Dad (8 months)

So the question is:  WHO LOOKS LIKE WHO???

These pictures make me laugh!
It's funny to see just how different each one of my children are.
Especially the TWINS!
They are NOT twins, they just happened to come together!

6 happy, healthy babies!
I'm one lucky mom!!!
p.s. I'm SO glad a got a baby girl!!!

My How She's Changed--

Lia has changed so much over the past 4 months--
Here she is at 12 days old--
 Lia at 1 month
 Lia at 2 months
 Lia at 3 months
 Lia at 4 months
I'm so glad that my mom took monthly pictures of us,
and that I've followed in her footsteps by taking
monthly pictures of my children for the 1st year.
It's crazy to compare the pictures and SEE the changes.
And be able to see the similarities of all the kids at the same age (month)

I Could Do THIS All Day Long!

Kiss on this BABY!!!

Science Project--

In science Cody is learning about VOLCANOS!
He had an assignment to make a volcano,
and then in Science class they were all going to have the
volcanos erupt.  Cody was so excited!
This is his volcano and a bit of creativity!!
I think he did a great job!!
I LOVE the lava coming out of the volcano!
Good job dude!

Look What I Did--

So I found my tummy sleeping baby like this---
SHE ROLLED OVER TODAY!!!
She was quite freaked out and crying when I came up to her room--
But I just had to take a picture!!!
Welcome to 4 months--
I wonder when she'll roll from back to tummy?

Family Home Evening

Family Home Evening--
An event at our home.
We do this every week!
Tonight was no different.
Song, prayer, scripture, lesson, song, prayer.
And for some reason is was TOTAL CHAOS!
And here's a little proof--
Kyle is trying to kick someone while
Jack is screaming his head off.
MEMORIES!!!!!!
Oh what fun family time is!!!

Lia's 4 Months

Lia is 4 months old!
Where has the time gone!
She is truly the BEST baby ever!
Just look at that FACE can she get any cuter!!!
and those LIPS!!!!!

4 month stats:
Weight:  14.4 lbs 62%
Height:  26.5 inches  97%
Head circumference:  41 cm 50%

She is such a delight in every sense of the word.

She sleeps an average of 14 hours at night
she'll go to bed at 8:30 pm and not wake till 10:30-11:30 am
She is only breast fed
with the occasional bottle in the car 1-2 times a month.
She smilies ALL the time
if you just look at her she smiles.
She laughs and coo's
and the boys have competitions to see who can make her laugh the hardest.
(but she laughs best for mom)
Depending on what time she wakes up in the morning
she'll either take two 2-3 hour naps or
1 long 4 hour nap
She's trying to roll over but just can't quite get there.
I think the main problem, she is held all day long!
between 5 big brothers, mom and dad
she's never on her tummy long enough to roll over!!
She is loved too much!
Actually I don't think that's possible!
We love you Little Miss!!!

Luke and Lia

I took this picture last night!
There is nothing better than watching my boys love this baby!
And Luke is no exception!
He LOVES Lia so much!
And she LOVES him back!

Another One Bites the Dust!

Steven lost another tooth!
He was THRILLED!
All I can say is they are growing up too fast!!!

Multitasking

The busiest time of day is between 3:30 and 8:00
that is when the boys get home from school, trying to get dinner prepared
and the house picked up and kids off to bed!
Today was no different.
I was busy helping the kids with homework, trying to make dinner,
and do a load of laundry.
Lia was upset and ready for a nap, and I was busy running around.
Next thing I knew Cody had picked her up and was holding her
and doing his homework.
He is such a good BIG brother!

and she is one LOVED baby sister!

They Made it to Primary!

I can't believe it!
These 2 have made it to Primary!
Here are the newest LaPray "SUNBEAMS!"
They were so excited and did such a good job.
Although they did miss playing with the toys in nursery!

Love you Kyle and Jack!

New Years Eve…

This year we decided to spend New Year's Eve in Idaho Falls!
There is just something special about being with family.
I was so glad to have captured this picture of Lia and her Grandpa!
New Year's Eve was spent with delicious food
and playing many games!
Here are the ones who made it to 12:00 am 2012
Cody, Steven, Luke, Dad, Mom, Grandma and Grandpa!
Cheers!!  Happy New Year!
Then the boys wanted to drink the rest of the
Martinelli's from the bottle!
They thought that was pretty cool!
Really it all comes down to the small things that bring the most JOY!
Like drinking from the bottle and...
Getting a New Year's kiss from your son!

Happy New Year!!!
Hoping that 2012 is filled with
LOVE & Happiness!!!!!

Snow!

Since there is NO snow in Utah, the boys were more than thrilled
when it started to snow while we were in Idaho.
Luke and Steven laughing and playing in the snow fall!
Cody with recent snow on his head!
They can't wait for it to snow in Utah!
Aren't my boys SO CUTE!

New Years Eve… (WEEKEND)

For New Year's we decided to go to Idaho and celebrate with Family there.
While we were there I took some cute pictures of Lia.
A very HAPPY baby, who's almost 4 months old!!!!
 The newest BYU fan!
Playing with her Christmas ball.

She is such a delight!

~Grandparents~

I TOTALLY spaced it at Cody's baptism to take pictures of him
and his grandparents.
So in Lieu of that--here's a post dedicated to them!

Cody is so blessed to have wonderful grandparents on both sides.
Cody and Grandma & Grandpa Dabo
Cody and Grandma & Grandpa LaPray.

They are all such wonderful examples to Cody (and all of my children).
They have unwavering testimonies of the gospel.
They have taught him right and now he too has a love for games.
Going to grandma's house is always a BLAST.

I am so grateful for them!!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning,
Cody was the first one awake, and was so excited Santa had come.
Finally Steven and Luke joined him!
They were so excited.
They had fun inspecting each package!
Kyle and Jack got up too.  Finally!!!!

They were able to open their stockings before church.
We had church at 9, so we quickly did the stockings and got ready.
 My OH SO CUTE kids!!!!
All ready for church!

Once home from church the madness began!
Kyle with a new Spiderman toy!
Steven with a new Wii game
The Wii game that was at the TOP of Cody's list.
Luke and his new Remote Control Car!!
 Jack and his helicopter
 My Sweet baby---
 Daddy and basketball!
 Mom and Lia!
 Our Christmas table!
While we were waiting for the Turkey to finish
Kim and Curtis wanted me to open their gift,
They purchased the UGLIST pair of shoes--
As a joke!!!  haha  it was too funny!
Thank goodness I can return them and have $$$ to spend
at my favorite store--NORDSTROM!
My handsome boys ready to eat!

It was a wonderful day!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
