I can't lie, the older the kids get and the crazier that holiday gets, the less I enjoy it. How come no one ever told me that holidays are pretty stressful for mom's? haha. But there is something pretty fun about having all these little cuties dressed up in their favorite getups and hopped up on sugar. I'm just glad it's only once a year.
Arden as a witch, Susan the Power Ranger, Ruby as Princess Belle, June as Pippy the Pirate (the Pippy part is pretty much just in her head, but hey, whatever makes them happy right? She is completely addicted to the old 80's Pippy Longstalking movie, so random, I know.)

She's not so sure about the make-shift eyepatch.
Our fun night at the pumpkin patch. There are so many different and fun pumpkin patches around here, but we have fallen in love with this endearingly simple and quaint local place, Pack Farms. It always has the most amazing views and sunsets. And cute, cute Ruby, I have such a soft spot for this spunky and sweet girl.
My sweet little June, she is so easy to love. We can't help but smile when she's around.
Arden's class did these cute haunted houses with graham crackers and candy. It's so fun helping in her class and seeing how she interacts with her peers. I cannot believe how big she's getting.
Our annual family pumpkin painting. I know it's sort of a cop out, but we learned real early on that carving with little kids is a lose-lose. And come on, look at these faces, this is a big win:)
Susan is our crafty girl, okay maybe this isn't the best illustration of that . . . but she really loves to create, color, paint, and perform. She spends hours working on her projects and puts on puppet shows, dance recitals, and preschool lessons for us all to enjoy. Love her determination and her contagious laugh.
Arden Bea - our cute, independent, smart, and sassy little Bea. She is such a big helper, so easygoing and funny. Love her!
Despite all the madness that comes with Halloween (and the relief I feel when it's over, haha), I am very very grateful for this unforgettable day in 1979 because it brought me such an amazing husband and best friend. We love you babe!
