We got a fence!

Wow!  How we love our new fence!  We built our house almost 3 years ago on nothing more than an over-grown pasture and after years of making babies we are finally starting to get our "homestead" just how we want it!  All Ways Fencing just finished our new fence yesterday and I know we will be practically living in our yard from now on - especially Camron!  They did a great job and I highly recommend them!  Next on my list is my new patio furniture and a deck that will be added to our existing patio.

Down with the sickness!

Yes, we have been under the radar and under the weather!  I have completely forgotten that I am a blogging Mommy because there have been more important things to deal with around here lately.  EVERYONE in my family has been sick since the weekend before last.  My Sister and Mom got the symptoms first (even though I am certain they got it from us) and then we all followed Camron and then myself then Cooper and then my Dad and then Brent.  Olivia has somehow slipped by with only a runny nose and sore throat.  The main sickness has been a stomach virus that was brutile!  I had it the worst - to the point where I was so weak I couldn't even pick the baby up.  Luckily my Mom was feeling well enough to come and help me out because Brent was out of town working at this point.  Then when the boys were sick I just felt so bad for them - that scared little look on their faces was just awful.  This was the first time since becoming a Mom that I have had to deal with throw-up.  Then my poor Dad got both the stomach virus and this "flu like" sickness so we stayed as far away from him as possible!  Anyway, we are all done now.  Thank goodness!  But I did miss a lot of stuff going on while we were down - including and an old friends wedding.
Ok, well I just wanted to post so people wouldn't think I fell off the face of the earth!  I'll post some exciting stuff next time... we have some fun changes going on around our house, so stay tuned!

What a pretty day!

Finally, we have a beautiful day outside!  This cold weather has become very unwelcome and all of us really needed some sunshine in our lives... I mean, seriously, we live in South Texas for a reason!  While the temps are still a little chilly the sun sure did warm us up on the front patio this morning - even Cooper came out and he was so happy!  Here are some pics of our morning on the porch.

OMG!  They ran up and down the sidewalk like this about 20 times!  Please ignore the dead grass creeping onto the cement and also please ignore the neighbors junk in the background!

Cooper - Happy as usual!

Oh, and Cupid came and visited me a little early this year!  ;)

*** So I just noticed that my Cookie Co. watermark is on these pics and I'm too lazy to go back and redo them.  Ahhhh.....

Cooper's 6 Month Check-up

Cooper went to the doctor today for his 6 month check-up and here are his stats:
Height - 27" and Weight - 19lbs. 13.5ozs. both are at the 75 percentile
My big boy!  So I am now going to order his convertible car seat since the max capacity on his infant carrier is 20 lbs.!

Cooper - Six Months Old

So this is the picture that will come back to haunt him someday!  I love it!  Look at those sweet cheeks and sweet baby rolls!

Happy Half-Birthday Cooper!  OMG, my sweet boy is  half a year old... how sad!  That means in less than another six months or so he will be running around the house with Cam and Livy.  Oh, boy!
At 6 Months Old Cooper....
Rolls over both ways.  Sits unassisted for just about a minute before he tumps over.  He eats 3-8oz. bottles per day with one solid meal in the afternoon.  His solid meal is usually a small portion of meat with a side of two different veggies followed by some water.  He sleeps through the night from 8pm to almost 8am with a long afternoon nap from 1pm to almost 4pm and a small catnap in the mornings from about 10am to 11am.  (He is basically on the same sleep schedule as the twins - except for his added catnapping)  He has two bottom teeth and he likes to chew and drool on everything he can grab and pull to his mouth.  He is very ticklish and giggles and laughs out loud and it is sooo cute and funny.  ;)  Cooper does not like a paci, but he loves his thumb - especially when he is sleepy.  He loves his Sissy - she talks and sings to him and he is just lit up the entire time!  Cooper wears size 9mo. to 12mo. clothes and still in size 3 diapers.

This morning about half way through Coopers bottle Cam announces he has to go potty so I put Coop in his bouncer until I could get back to him - This is what I find when I get back into the living room!  Miss Mother Hen!

The first high-chair we have ever owned and it's a cheap-o and I love it!  Grandma Popp wanted to buy it for him - Thanks Memaw!  (BTW, we only needed a high-chair because the Bumbo I was using to feed him in was a little too tight on his big 'ol thighs!)

On a side note: Yes, I realize that in 98% of the photos of my kids they are wearing Pajamas.  In my opinion, unless we are going outside or leaving the house there is really no reason to change out of our warm PJ's!

WW - Livy's Room Is Getting A Makeover!

I have never decorated the kids rooms.  I never knew who would be in what room and then when Cooper came around there was more moving around.  Now, everyone is settled so the interior designing can begin!  Olivia's room is in the process of a full princess makeover and she is super excited!  Soon I will post the final results!  Camron and Cooper's room will also be getting the "once-over" but for now, it's all about the Princess!
