Teeth problems
This poor kid got my teeth, I really do fell bad for him becasue he is in for some major mouth pain. Where most of his friends have lost tons of teeth Carson only had two that had fallen out. We were excited when the top two finally got slightly loose. We started working on them really hard every night. When he told me he could feel the permanent tooth coming in I knew it was time to really work on it. So me being the mean Mom that I am yanked the first top tooth out. He cried and I felt horrible. A few days later the other one was super loose and you could see how loose it was. So once again I pulled that tooth out as well. Then just 3 days later he headed into the dentist to have 4 teeth on the bottom pulled to hopefully create some space for those coming in! So yes, 6 teeth gone in about a week. The poor kid had a rough time when the dentist had to pull the 4, he did NOT love when he was all done and his lip and mouth were numb. Luckily the tooth fairy pays extra money for those that Mom had to pull, and even more for the ones that the dentist has to pull. We have also had our first trip to the orthodontist, let's just say there will be a massive amount of work that has to be done, we will be going in every six months from now on. I also don't think these are the last teeth Carson will have to have pulled. Poor guy!

BYU gymnastics meet
My sister and I took our two girls to a BYU Gymnastics meet and the girls loved it! We rode down to BYU together and went to dinner at Chick Fila at the girls request.
Both Brynnley and Kate are very big into gymnastics right now so they were so excited to see the big girls compete. We moved around the building a couple of time so we could get the perfect seat. We finally settled on the side where the girls could stand up and see all of the different events. Brynnley loved to watch the vault and would clap and stand up as soon as each girl was done.
We got a few snacks to keep the girls occupied for a little bit during the middle, but for the most part they loved watching it all.
We decided to leave a little bit early since it was getting kind of late and girls were getting a little restless. It was perfect timing because Cosmo was right by the door as we were walking out. It was a really fun girls night and fun taking the girls together.

Ogden Treehouse museum
WE took a trip up to Ogden with my family to go to the Ogden Treehouse museum and visit a couple of my Aunts that live up there. We went to the museum with the Kelly's and Grandma and Grandpa Ford. My Aunt Cleone and Aunt Elaine were going to meet us there but it didnt' work out for them to come.
We have been up to the museum one other time and I remember that my kids had really liked it. They LOVED it this time. They have so many fun exhibits to see and play in. Carson's favorite thing was the giant tree house and the United States map. Brynn liked playing school in the school house and looking at all of the dolls. It was a really fun trip and the kids loved it!
After we went to the museum we went to Kneaders and had some lunch. It was also my parents 35th wedding Anniversary that day so we treated them to lunch and got them a really pretty pictures of the Salt Lake Temple, where they were married.
After lunch we headed over to the Farr Ice cream parlor to get ice cream for dessert. My Aunt Cleone was able to join us for Ice cream and it was fun to visit with her.
It was a really fun day and the kids had fun with their cousins and Grandma and Grandpa.

Spoiled rotten on my Birthday!
Kyle went all out this year for my birthday! A few days before my birthday we went to City Creek and went to Cheesecake factory with is family to celebrate, yummy and fun!
The morning of the breakfast he told me my whole day was planned out! What a husband! We took the kids to school and then headed to Blue lemon for breakfast. I had the most delicious crepes ever, they were so good! After breakfast we headed to Costco! I know it may not sound exciting but it is fun to go with out kids and fun to go with Kyle.
Kyle had a business meeting so he left me to finish at Costco and then pick up McKay. I traded cars with him and he took McKay home and I went to the hair appointment Kyle had pre scheduled for me. I don't know what it is about getting your hair done that makes you feel so good!
After we got the kids home from school Kyle had arranged for a babysitter to come be with the kids and we headed out. We headed down to Springville to this cute boutique clothing shop that I have been wanting to go to for a while. It was so much fun and was a little crazy to just have a shopping spree to myself!
After shopping we headed to the Trolley restaurant in Springville. We have been there a handful of times and love the food and have some great memories there!
After dinner we headed up to the outlets at Traverse Mountain for a little bit and did a little shopping. We then found the Waffle Luv truck and got yummy waffles. I have been wanting to try their waffles for a while and Kyle found out where they would be on my birthday! We took our waffles to the Fountaines house and ate our dessert and hung out with them for a little bit.
It was such an amazing birthday and I felt totally spoiled and pampered!

Rare disease day 2014
National Rare disease day is always February 28th so it is easy for me to remember since it is on my birthday! I like to celebrate it for McKay and to help bring awareness to the syndrome and those with other rare diseases. They made these adorable photos (above) that you could put your photo in and I love how McKay's turned out.
I posted on Facebook and Instagram and told everyone to wear their jeans and tag me in their pictures. I loved seeing pictures all day come in! We had them come in from Canada, Florida, and all over Utah! It meant so much to me that everyone would show their support for McKay. It was a fun day and I think it really helped bring awareness.
I made a short video of everyone that wore their jeans and posted it on Facebook and sent it to the Rare Disease facebook group. They actually posted it on their site and the video was seen all over the world! So I think we did our part!
