The BYU Graduate

We have a new Randall Family Brigham Young University Graduate. My brother Jarom graduated from BYU with his Bachelor's degree in Geography (He is going into Geographical Informational Systems)
I know there are a lot of pictures, I am just trying to make sure my parents who are on their mission get the full affect of graduation.
My sister Michelle and I were able to go and attend the ceremony and see him walk (My oldest sister was having some serious contractions so she decided not to make the trip down). We were lucky enough to get there with plenty of time and get a good spot. I went down below so I could get some pictures and video's when I realized I was the only one there with a camera and my parents would want pictures.
It was very exciting when they read his name, of course they pronounced it wrong. That morning Kyle had been joking "what if they get his name wrong?" I told him "If anywhere is going to get it right it is BYU." No luck, they announced it Jarren Randall
After the ceremony we met him for hugs and pictures.

We also drove over to the cougar to get some pictures. Jarom is a die hard BYU football fan, so the stadium is holy ground to him.
Goin' for a ride on the cougar!

After we got all the pictures we wanted my sister took him out to lunch and I headed home. It was a nice morning and I am so glad I could go see him walk. It is such a big accomplishment for him and I am so proud. Congrats to Jarom!

He will be leaving us at the end of the summer for more humid times! He got accepted to Texas A & M for their masters program in Geography. He even got everything paid for! I hope we can go down and visit him in the land of Texas! We are so excited for him, but will REALLY miss him!

Spring Break Part 2

On Wednesday we were able to go out and visit my Grandma and Grandpa in Lake Point. I knew that my kids would have more fun if they had their cousins to play with so I invited my sisters to come along with us. We went to my Grandparents house and visited with them for a while and then we packed everything up and headed to the park.
They put a really good park in just behind the church in Lake Point so we go out there every time we go to see my Grandparents. My kids love it and they keep adding fun things to the park. McKay of course loved the swings. I love that he is a little more stable this year and I don't have to worry about his big noggin making him fall out of the swing.

These two girls are pretty much inseparable as soon as they get together. They were so excited to have lots of play time together and they were by each other's side the whole day. It is great having girl cousins for Brynn so close in age!
We had a lot of fun out visiting with Grandma and Grandpa and having a picnic lunch. I am so glad we were able to go out. My Grandma told me a few times she had been looking forward to it ever since I had called her. We definitely  need to go out more!
On Thursday it was a super rainy day, we were suppose to go the Thanksgiving Point Gardens but that idea was scratched. So we hurried and got ourselves ready and headed to Kangaroo Zoo before the rest of Utah County did. We met up with our friends there and the kids had a blast. So much fun in fact that this is the only picture I could snap.  Grandma Ford was nice enough to watch McKay for us, and we even got to go to McDonald's for lunch. Even better, we were able to go inside and play in the play place. To say that the kids are ready for us all to be able to go out and do fun stuff would be an understatement. I think they are just as excited as I am to be out of hibernation!
We also took a quick trip to the Library that afternoon. We picked up a few new books and got a couple of movies to watch as well.
The kids had been looking forward to going to the Gardens all week. Since we weren't able to go because of the weather we took a quick trip to the Children's Gardens. We didn't have time to go to the big Gardens because McKay had a Doctor's appointment. So we just went to the Children's Gardens' and the kids loved it.
They have added even more fun stuff this year and the kids had a blast. By far the big hit was the new climbing atom they have added. Carson wanted to spend the hole time there.
Look at my cute kiddo's!

My kids love to go to the stage and do a dance. They take turns dancing on the stage and playing the instruments.
Carson picked these flowers to get a picture by.

We had a wonderful Spring Break. It was definitely very busy but we had so much fun. It definitely made me super excited for the Summer. We usually jam our summers full as of much fun stuff as possible. I LOVE going out and having fun with the kids.

Spring Break part 1

So we were not going anywhere super fun for Spring Break. But I still wanted to make it really fun for the kids. Also Kyle was out of town for most of the week on business so I wanted to keep the kids busy so as to avoid lots of boredom leading to fighting. So we had something fun planned for each day. I think the kids had a lot of fun and we were really happy we had good weather for most of the week!
On Monday we went up to the Zoo with Grandma Ford, Aunt Heather and Sadie and Tyler. The weather was beautiful and we got there nice and early. The animals were all out and the crowds were not too bad.
The carousel as usual is a big hit. We rode it twice!

McKay was so happy just to be outside! He definitely started having a hard time towards the end when it got crowded with lots of people and it was about nap time. But he was happy to be out and about with everyone!

These two girls are inseparable. Brynn asks if she can play with Sadie at least once a day. They get along so well and love being together!
I just loved having some good fun with all the kids!
On Tuesday McKay had an Eye doctor appointment in the morning right next to Primary's. So after the appointment (which went well, no eye surgery for right now and the glasses are helping his eyes) we met at City Creek. I have really wanted to go up and see it, but really wanted to try and avoid the crowds. The kids loved all of the fountains, they had fun just running from fountain to foutain.

We only went to a few stores. McKay needed some new shoes (hopefully we can get him to keep them on), and of course that meant Brynn and Carson needed new shoes to.
We also hit up the Disney store up there, and it does not disappoint. The kids loved just running around and looking at everything. It is a really fun store and they had some fun interactive stuff to do. Each of the kids got to pick out one small thing. Grandma also bought them each one thing.
After a little shopping we met Grandpa and Uncle Devin (who both work for the church) for lunch. We were able to eat outside and have a delicious lunch. The kids loved being out and seeing Grandpa for lunch.

Easter 2012

We had to start our Easter prep the night before. Brynn loves having her hair curly, especially for church. So I had the idea to try the sponge curlers. I was pretty convinced she would only last 10 minutes with them in. But she was so excited to get them in and was so exhausted from the day that she fell right asleep with them in. It brought back major flashbacks of when my mom put my hair in sponge curlers for ballet. I'm going to have to get some lessons from her before we are ready for ringlets though!

The kids decided to sleep in Easter morning, it was kind of nice. Carson was the first out of the two to wake up so he woke Brynn up to (that's why she looks so incredibly sleepy).

They were so anxious to find the Easter baskets that the Easter bunny had hidden. The loved everything in their baskets too. Carson got some Nitro colored golf balls, sidewalk chalk, the Muppets DVD and some candy. Brynn got the DVD Hop, a Barbie coloring book, and some new "lipsticks" (lipsmakers).

McKay got his new "Signing Time" DVD's, and lots and lots of bubbles.

It was of course a major battle to get a cute picture of the kids in their Easter clothes. But I think we snapped a few good ones. I know I am pretty impartial, but they all are the cutest kids alive!

Even more lucky that we were able to snap a family shot after church. Those are very rare, so I love when we can get 'em.

We had a very nice yummy Easter dinner filled with lots of family and friend. We are all so excited grilling weather is back! After dinner we all gathered our Easter baskets. Yes, all...adults too. We gathered by the door and everyone ran out. It is a total free for all, and is every man for himself. The kids went nuts and found a ton of eggs. Kyle of course was in it for the money eggs so went out with gusto.  It was a lot of fun and the kids loved all the fun Easter prizes they found.
It was a wonderful Easter. Full of family, friends, food, good times, and lots of fun!

Bubbles, Bubbles, and Bubbles

I love the magic of bubbles when you are little...
I know it is a crazy amount of pictures, I just couldn't get enough of his adorable face and how excited he was for all of the bubbles! Happy Bubbles!
