What not to say when a teacher controls your grade!

There was a quiz I posted for my class with a question, then A, B, C, D as choices. A was correct, B was correct, C was not, and D said both A and B. I have had 150 students take this quiz and not one of them selected A,B and D - until now (the system marked it wrong). This a portion of his diatribe and his spelling and punctuation are as he wrote it.

Student: the question needs to be fixed [because he said the instructions said to choose all answers that are correct] so that only one answer can be chosen. and i need my points back cause i got the question right

Me: I checked the test and only D is the correct answer.

Student:Please reread what answer d is. It says answer d is a and b. I chose answers a b and d because all three are correct. This is an error in the format of the answers to the question. Not my understanding. Please fix my score.

Me: I have checked the test and it does not say "choose all answers that are correct." If you want an instructor to help you, it is better to ask rather than command.

Student: i'm taking a course right now on how to write surveys. and the formatting of questions is very important. my teacher teaches us by telling us what we need to do to fix our questions and I was meerly using the same style of teaching he uses to try and teach you. [italics added]

Hummm - I really don't need him to teach me on this and I will not go out of my way to help him in the future.
