Adam-Ondi-Ahman

 We picked up Kyle from working all night in the ICU and were on our way to Missouri! We ate breakfast at the hospital with Kyle before we left.

 Everyone had their turn taking naps (except for me!) Trevin flopped over and zonked. Kyle took naps throughout the day of and on because he was up all night! I drove most of the way.

 We made it to Laramie, WY the first night. We stopped and played in the pool at the hotel and then crashed! The next morning, we stopped at Cabela's in Sydney, Nebraska. We can't pass a Cabela's and not stop with all of these boys! We travelled all day and the boys were amazing! I think I over planned activities for the boys to do in the car, but they certainly weren't bored! They are the best boys in the whole wide world!

 We made it to the beautiful Adam-Ondi-Ahman in Missouri! We were all so excited to see Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Pam! We hadn't seen them for over a year and missed them so much! They are serving a mission here. We went for a walk the first night and the next day, we fished in several of the little ponds on AOA. We caught bass and bluegill. Yummy!

 We caught frogs and tadpoles in the pond at Grandpa and Grandma's house. They boys couldn't resist getting in the water, big surprise huh?!

 Grandpa Jeff pushed Trevin in the tree swing. Trevin was the only one that would do it. Josh didn't want to.

 AOA is such a sacred, beautiful place. We learned so much about it's rich history and sacredness. We didn't want to leave to come home.

 When you stand here on this hill on AOA, you can talk in a normal volume and the millions of people gathered could hear what was being said across the valley below. It is a natural amphitheater. It was really neat to be there.

 Typical Cooper move...pull both brother's hair and then run. We happened to catch proof in picture! Little stink!

 We are sitting on Preacher's Rock. Joseph Smith stood here to preach to the saints when they stayed here.

 This is the pecan grove on AOA. Pam said that you have to try to beat the deer to the pecans though and you usually can't.

 Happy 4th Birthday Trevin (January 10)! We love you!! Thanks Mitzi Pruitt for the amazing cake!

 My boys decided to make Zombie shirts while I was using the restroom. I may or may not survive these cute "zombies". I love them!

 When Kyle works in Jerome, he usually brings a treat home for the boys. This trip's  treat was a sucker with a bug inside. Josh did not think it was funny at all and wouldn't even come close to the "treat". Trevin sucked on it for a few minutes until he thought he was close to the bug. Cooper loved it. He would have just eaten the whole thing, but Josh was really "bugged" that he was eating a sucker with a bug in it. He kept asking us to take it away because he was afraid he was going to eat the bug. Josh does NOT like any kind of bug and won't go anywhere near them. It was pretty entertaining watching him keep a close eye on Cooper while he ate his treat. He didn't relax at all until we took the sucker away.

 I made this cupcake wedding dress as a dessert for an Young Women's Winter Camp that I was in charge of. The mutual theme this year is "Stand ye in Holy Places". So, we took the girls to do baptisms for the dead at the temple and then came back and talked about preparing to go to the temple and being your best self. We had lunch and then we did some activities to help the girls understand the importance of being their best selves. We did facials, hygiene, hair care, exercise, pedicures, etc to help them feel beautiful and find a balance in their lives. It was really fun!

 Happy Easter! This is all of the Rumsey grandkids, aka, Miller's, Gibson's, Workman's and Rumsey's! It was fun to have everyone there!

 In the beginning of April, I went to New York City with my friend, Keli Andersen. Her husband Derek got to go over for a work conference, so Keli and I played in NYC! We loved every minute. I was only there for 3 days, so we hit the ground running every morning and ran all day! We took a bus/boat tour of NYC on the first day so that we could see everything. The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island were both still closed from a hurricane (Sandy, I think) so we had to settle for a boat tour, but it was fun!

 We went and say The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. It was AMAZING!! It was worth every penny and I would totally go see it again. We also saw Mamma Mia and it was really good too!

 We went to see the 9/11 memorial and it was a really special place. We also went and did an Endowment session at the Manhatten Temple, we went to the Brooklyn Museum, almost mastered the subway system, had really yummy cheesecake, enjoyed Times Square, went to the Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center) and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge. It was fun.

I came home from NYC, and Kyle and I finalized the purchase of our first home! We bought a house in Bonneville County in a little area called Coltman, but it is considered Idaho Falls. We love it here! We have a great ward, great neighbors and our very own home! We have 2 acres, a shop and horse barn, and our 4 bed, 2 bath home. We have done a lot of painting and have more updates to do, eventually, but we love our home!

 Kyle turned the big 3-0 on May 4th. He got a new Ipod because his broke. He loved it!

 Kyle caught a snake and let the boys see it. It was pretty cool!

 Josh turned 6 on May 15th! Happy Birthday Josh! We love you! He had a pirate piniata and our friend, Mitzi Pruitt also made Josh a cake. He was insistent on having a camp jet on his cake and she did an amazing job! Thanks Mitz!

And, the boys and I built the Empire State Building out of Lego's. It was fun!

Merry Christmas 2012!

 Santa's cookies and milk are all ready to go. I am sure that Santa will enjoy 4 yummy cookies! We even added carrots for the reindeer and we left a magic key outside for Santa to use to get in to the house. He left it on the plate when he left!

 Santa brought Trevin a talking Woody and a talking/galloping Bullseye!

 Josh got a brand new "real" keyboard from Santa. Now he can learn to play the piano a little bit. He loves music and Santa knew that he would love to have a nice keyboard to play on!

 Cooper got some new musical instruments to play with in the tub! Santa knew that our tub toys were getting worn out and that Cooper loves to play (and poop, unfortunately) in the tub!!

Daddy is tired! We even slept in until 7:30!  That is a good, normal day at our house!

And, here is a picture of Jane and Sharla because they got missed in the above pictures! We had so much fun spending Christmas with Kelly and Sharla and the girls! We are blessed to live in a time with so many advancements in technology. Jeff and Pam were able to join us on Christmas morning via Skype. We LOVED being able to share this day with them, even though they are in Adam-Ondi-Ahman, Missouri, serving the Lord! We love the gospel and enjoyed feeling the Spirit this Christmas season. I felt the Spirit particularly strong this season and loved the witness of the true reason we have Christmas.

Proud Daddy!

While we were visiting Kyle's Grandparents in Utah, Kyle was shooting his pellet gun in the backyard with Josh and Trevin. Not too long after they went out, I had a very excited Josh running through the backdoor. He had shot his first bird with the pellet gun! Daddy lined up the shot for him and Josh pulled the trigger. He was so proud of himself, as was his Daddy!

Sledding on Christmas Eve

 We went sledding with Kelly and Sharla and the girls while we were at their house for Christmas! This was on Christmas Eve. Kyle went down with Cooper first and he loved it!

 Yes, Cooper is falling out of the sled as Kyle was pulling him back up the hill.

 Josh going down on his tummy! He had no fear at all. He kept going and going!

 Trevin would only go down with his head and shoulders over the sled. He let his tummy and legs trail behind, off of the sled. It was funny!

Kyle and Cooper! My boys were so sad that we had to go home. They were all so cold, but they didn't care. They would have stayed all night if I would have let them.

Temple Square

 What an amazing day! We had so much fun as we wandered through the Beehive House, gazed at the magnificent temple and discovered the Church History Museum!

 Aren't these the most handsome boys you have ever seen?! I am so blessed to have all of them in my life!

We got the enjoy this experience with the Liu's! It was so fun to see the lights and and watch our boys take in the beauty of Temple Square! The Spirit was so strong and I am so grateful for my testimony and the blessings that are mine. I am so blessed to be sealed to my wonderful husband and my handsome boys! I love them so much! The pioneers were amazing to have been able to build such and amazing temple!

August to November Recap!

 In August, the girls went on the annual 30th birthday trip! This year it was mine! We spent a week in sunny Long Beach, California. We went to Universal Studio's, Aquarium of the Pacific, The Queen Mary, and of course we went to the beach. We are enjoying Pina Colata's on the beach!

 We took the boys to the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot, ID in September! They loved it! Cooper had crumbs on his tray from some crackers and his lunch. The goats LOVED it! They licked his tray clean and he laughed the whole time!

 Josh started school in September! I cannot believe that we have a kindergartner! He loves school and is so smart!

 We celebrated Brian's birthday on Oct. 4. We sent some notes to heaven on some balloons! We miss you Brian!

 We are all ready for General Conference in this photo. They enjoyed Conference Bingo, lots of treats, coloring, and all sorts of activities to keep them busy! For days afterwards, they kept asking when we could watch conference again! It turns out that they just wanted free reign of treats!

 We also go to enjoy carving pumpkins at Great Grandpa and Grandma Dalton's house!

 All dressed up and ready for trick-or-treating! We went to our ward trunk-or-treat and then we went to Doug and Mitzi Pruitt's to trick or treat and then went up their street. They had fun!

 In November, we went to get Christmas trees after Thanksgiving! It was fun as always! We go to Spencer, ID and were not disappointed!

 The boys shot pistols while we were enjoying the warm weather. Josh wasn't too fond of the blow back from the gun!

 We also had to decorate the tree! Cooper insisted on "helping" daddy put on the lights! He learned that he could climb the ladder and we couldn't keep him off of it!

We have the lights on and it is decorated! This is the biggest tree we have ever had, hands down! It is huge! We loved having room to have a big tree! We had to buy more lights to cover it though!
