This weekend was crazy!
My parents went out of town Thursday so my house was party central! (just kidding Mom if you are reading this)
Friday... didn't start so great, cracked a tooth at work and then got a speeding ticket on my way home. But that was the worst of the day so that is good I guess. Was able to finally spend some time visiting with Jessica, seems our Fridays have been busy lately. Hung out with a friend and then had a pretty crazy game night. Played some MOW, Swedish Twister (best game ever), Do you love your neighbor?, and some others... I don't think we got to bed till 4am, which by that point I was up for 24 hours, I didn't get a nap that day. But it was well worth it.
Saturday... Spent time cleaning which is best done while dancing and singing to music. Then some girl friends came over and we did our girl stuff; talking, eating, laughing, singing, eating, laughing... you know the drill. We watched the last 4 episodes of The New Girl... which I find absolutely hilarious... (yes I did try and look up the rules to True American, still doesn't make sense)...But I got to bed a little earlier... 3am!
Sunday... well I had a nice headache that kept me from church. Watched a few movies and got better for a Fireside. After which we went to a game night that was a COMPLETE dud... so we played Ninja in the street and walked around the neighborhood... it was a very very random evening... but we had a good time nonetheless...
I think all that partying caught up with me... woke up with another headache and was just way too tired.... so I stayed home... oops...
oh yeah... so I have been growing out my bangs and they are finally long enough to wear down, pulled to the side instead of pinned back all the time. YAY!
(Thanks Jessica for hinting that I start Weekend Updates again)

Utah Conference Trip
I was invited to go up to conference with my good friend Tashina and her family. We had so much fun. We drove up Friday the whole day. There was a episode of car sickness which may have been more of a stomach bug 10 minutes before we arrived at the hotel. I won't eat gummy bears for a long while now. We listened to tons of music, I took a turn driving with Tashina as my navigator. I must say she sure did do a great job keeping alert, letting me know speed limit changes, answering text messages, and keeping the music going so I didn't fall asleep.
We spent Saturday in Downtown Salt Lake at the new City Creek Mall which was super neat. We were so tired that when we went to Deseret Book during there ladies night we chilled in the children's book section and sat in those little chairs that we probably should have let the kids use. We waited at the temple while they guys were in the Priesthood session. Pretty sure I could lay on the temple lawn all day, such a nice peaceful feeling!
We went to the Sunday morning session of Conference. It was neat to be in the presence of the Prophet and Apostles. It was a really neat experience. We drove halfway to Kanab right after the session.
Monday we went to the Grand Canyon. It was super neat. I have not been there since I was a little kid. It was super neat. We hiked down a little trail too, I did get cool pictures but for whatever reason my phone deleted them... kinda really sad about it. It was so fun. I hope someday to go back and do Havasupai.
It was a really fun quick trip! So grateful for the opportunity to go!

Callie and Kenlee's visit!
Callie and Kenlee came for a few weeks from Ohio.
I got a whole week off of work. It was so much fun!
I loved cuddling and playing with my beautiful niece.
I could just watch that pretty girl for hours.
And I got to spend loads of time with Callie.
We chatted, sang at the top of our lungs, cried, ate junk food, got a pedicure,
went to the movies, watched tons of chick flicks, visited Krazy Sub a few times, and laughed a ton.
I absolutely LOVED having them here.
I think Callie's visit was timed perfectly with some issues I had going on with boys.
Heavenly Father KNEW I would need her here.
Her and my Mom have been such an amazing support.
Thank You Callie for such a wonderful visit!
You helped more than you know!
I can't wait till I get to snuggle that little girl in the summer!
