Family Reunion Day 3

For our very last day we went to Twin Falls. Online we saw that it was 3/4 of a mile but some how it felt a lot longer than that. We still had a great time....we always do :-)

Please forgive the editing, I have too many to choose from and didn't really have enough time to edit the photos, sorry :-(Grandma and Grandpa got all the kids matching T-shirts. We had some great comments on them, one of them was " don't you all know that you are in Seattle?"
One water fall.
It was a different experience hiking with that many people. We all experienced different things through out the hike here are some examples...Shock!Cheesiness!Sadness.Triumph.Exhaustion!Sassiness!
Beauty
Silliness!
Uncertainty.Love.Mischievousness!!
He was born at 32 weeks and had the whole family praying and fasting for him. We love him to pieces!!!
Bonding.
One on one time with Grandpa and Girly time with Grandma.
After lunch we adventure ourselves to a photo session of the Grand kids.Twelve kids, the oldest being 10 years old and the youngest being 18 months old.Hug your neighbor!
Notice, Krysta ran away, Kayli and Elena are working on their closeness, Joshua isn't hugging anyone,by his own choice, and there is a pile of cousins on the back row :-)How much do you love Grandma and Grandpa?
THIS MUCH!!Shh! we are taking a nap!

...and all because two wonderful people fell in love.
We love you Mom and Dad!

Heat wave, how to fight it.

We are melting in Seattle yesterday was 103, we have no AC which makes grumpiness rise among the females of the family.

No worries though, we are keeping cool, look for yourselves!
Yes, those are towels.

I realized today that I had put about 6 of them in the washer but didn't actually wash them. So, I did. Then I chose not to put them in the dryer (due to heat) and hang them around the house. Well the girls are now standing in front of the fan wrap around wet towels.
I tried it,it works like magic!!

Family Reunion Day 2

For our second day we took us all to the Museum of Flight. It was WAY more fun than planned. NASA was having a couple of stations for the kids with Robots, astronaut picture taken and a cool room where we learned of what happens up there and we saw a really cool movie. The kids came home with a backpack, a pin and their photo printed on a NASA passport. The coolest thing that day!
Oh wait, no, the coolest was this a nice man gave it to us for free, he said he didn't have room for it. We certainly did :-)They were very impressed!Air Force-One
There is a doggy door there.I was in charge of the two cutest little girls in the fam. Don't you love how opposite they are? Big brown eyes and dark hair, Big blue eyes and blond hair. People could not stop staring at me, one man told me that to watch out, those two were going to be TROUBLE...I think they already are!
Has anyone see the purple cup? She misses it!
He really liked the moon!
Jared, our future pilot!
Amy, Megan and Cheryl
I am not related by blood.

After all that fun and Tyler being lost for a little while we left the Museum. Went home and had some yummy ice cream sundaes, some napped and some others just relaxed and got ready for....

.............

.................

ICE BLOCKING!!!
note:Safeway and gas stations don't carry ice blocks, but QFC does.
Where do you ice blocking? no where else but Gas Works park!
The kids LOVED it!
So did the adults!

Family reunion day 1

To start our wonderful KFR we took the whole gang to Carekeek park. Now sadly enough I had to be downtown for part of the morning but David made sure they all had a great time!
Everyone waiting for the train.A little on the chili side :-)Finding gooey treasures. He is going to marry me!Playing fun games with Aunt Melanie and Grandma.
Notice my child just observes.
Everyone before I got there. After I got there Mom, Megan, Jared, Kylie, Dad and I went for a little hike while the others took the little ones home for a nap.

I know!!
He is truly scary, can you see where he is?..... besides the ice!!!
Yes, we took 18 people to Pike Place Market, 9 adults 9 kids, we had it all under control....
or so we thought :-(
You see, we got there as they were closing the place. We were sad that the kids would not see the flying fish at all. Then one of the workers handed a bag to Kylie and then told the kids to put the squid in there.
Gross, but they LOVED it!
There in the red hat is the nice man that let the kids have such an experience!
I really think we just wanted to go home and found himself a few little elves.
How many little ones can you fit on top of the gold pig?
Little Mathew was being so kind and stayed on Ryan's back.
Jared was a little confused :-(

After such an experience and finding food somewhere else we took a little (long) walk to the Sculpture park to have our picnic.
Dad loved seeing these.
and I loved seeing this.
It was a very fun first day except for Amy and her family, they were traveling all day. We tried to hurry but she was at our place before we were :-( Sorry Amy, we were so happy to see you and your family :-)
