Snowman

Burrr! It is so cold outside! The snow won't stop falling! I feel bad for my hubby who has to work in it! Poor guy!

Mr.Kaplan went to his 18 month check up today! He had probably the worst day of his little life! His pee pee grew together a little bit and the doctor had to "peel" it apart! Poor man! Then on top of that he had to have two shots! So he was taking very easy today. He watched Mickey's Christmas and had mac n cheese at a little table on the couch!!!! He was in heaven! He watched the entire movie!

I Sew Made a Blanket!

Wahoo! I'm almost done making Kaplan's Christmas blanket. Actually, my little friend Kimmers is finishing it. Shh. But I made ALMOST the whole thing! She is just helping me with the last of the binding! I've never done binding, what a bugger! When it is all done I will post a picture of it, the fabric is adorable! Hopefully it doesn't fall apart when Kapster is all cuddled up in it, by cuddled I mean has it tied around his neck for a cape! Well wish me (Kim and I) luck!

Star Light Star Bright I Freakin Love TWILIGHT

Ahh! My mom felt bad that I couldn't go with the family last night to see Twilight..so we went tonight! Oh my heck I loved it! I've heard that some people hated others of course why would you how could you not love it!? Twilight is to me what Harry Potter was to all of you overly obsessed yeah it was a good show but nothing to swoon over show...see what I mean! I'm in love with how in love Bella and Edward are yet I love Jacob too! Ohh the drama! I hear they are already filming the second one! I am such a nerd!

We got turkey and pie where the heck is my husband!

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone and no sign of my hubby! He worked today which is normal and expected. But, usually he is able to come to his parents because they live in Layton, so we always do Thanksgiving and Christmas day there but anyway he was too busy to come home at all today. They (the officers) hadn't even been able to eat the turkey we sent with him to the station! They had to tazor some guy today! Ha good ole family get togethers ...little drinking...little turkey and boom you got the cops at your door! Last year he had to tazor someone on Christmas Eve! Horrible huh! I wish the bad guys would take a few days of here and there so we could spend some times with our husbands! Oh and he might have to work an extra shift tomorrow on his day off..Yippy. Oh the joys of being married to the law! But hey, we have great insurance! Thank honey for working so hard! Miss you!

Go Utes

Saturday was the Utes vs. BYU Game! We invited some of the other officers and their families over to the Big Kelley's to watch the game! Needless to say the Utes won! Go Utes! Sorry Barrron! We had a blast though just hanging out and eating! Who knew that a football game is FOUR whole hours...not me!

Sickos

Well Kaplan got it first and it has now trickled it's way to me. Wahoo. It got so bad this morning that I had to have Chris come home from work, that has never happened, I felt horrible but it turns out his traing was kind of boring anyway. Ha. I hope we all feel better by tomorrow because we have family coming into town and I would hate to miss seeing them.

Bully

Today we are going to Bountiful to visit Lindee and Kadin! Wish us luck, Ha. Kadin tends to be the bully in the relationship, so poor little Kaplan goes up to him with a great big smile and Kadin WHACKS him! Kaplan doesn't understand why he Kadin won't just play with him. They were born on the same day and they have been around eachother their whole lives. What can I do to help Kadin be a little nicer to Kapster? What's a good way to handle someone else's kid beating on yours? Help?!?!

Here comes Santa Claus

I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner! I love buying presents for everyone, especially Kaplan. This is the first year he can really enjoy the Holidays, he can eat the turkey, he can open the presents and he can kiss you at midnight! I'm sure he will love everything about it!
