random pictures from Kyle's phone

So just found a few cute ones that Kyle just got around to downloading. Doesn't that green grass just make you want to cry, I am already missing summer, but infinitely grateful that I only have to survive a Utah winter this year.

Fall and pumpkins

This year we experienced the joy of raking leaves, all 40 some odd bags of them, and when I say "we" I really mean "me". The boys really enjoyed playing in them though and they do look pretty while they are falling. We also enjoyed a warmer than usual Halloween night. Elijah was Frankenstein, and Wes was Raphael the ninja turtle.

Retreat

In October Kyle and I got to go on an overnight retreat for the first year residents at Park City. We stayed in this amazing condo right in Deer Valley Ski resort area. Our room was as big as our whole house! It was a lot of fun for me, I went shopping at the outlet stores, but Kyle had listen to lectures all day:( Posting a few pictures of our amazing bungalow.

Daddy is a Doctor?

We have had a crazy couples of months with Kyle having a demanding schedule and the boys and I hanging together on our own. He only had one Sunday off in the past two months, so we had to document it with pictures! Tonight the boys and I went to the hospital to have dinner with Kyle, since he's there overnight. It's amazing how much I appreciate even 45 mins with him these days. He brought some masks for the kids to try on, and when Elijah saw Kyle with a mask on he asked " Daddy, you a doctor?" I guess the mask gave it away:) After dinner we had fun riding the escalator a least 10 times.

Sugarhouse Park

There is a park nearby where there are all kinds of birds, geese, and ducks that love to eat our stale bread. The boys love to feed the birds. Elijah also likes to eat the stale bread:) Some of the geese get rather aggressive so we have back them off. We tried to feed them fruity pebbles once and no-go! I don't blame them I won't eat them either.

super hero boots

We got Elijah some super hero boots, well not really. They are combo rain/snow boots that are made by Crocs so they are waterproof. He loves them and we think he looks like a superhero in them especially with the diaper! Weston began home preschool a few weeks ago and since then we find in him with his dry erase board practicing his letters all the time. He is loving school and learning and the one on one time with mom is also awesome!

Odds and Ends

I have noticed that I am not nearly as good at blogging as I used to be when we lived away from family, but I have had pictures piling up for awhile so here they are. The boys are loving living near so many boys to play with, in fact that's all we have are boy neighbors. Wes is very into dressing up and having all kinds of make believe adventures. We found an old school little tykes cabin on KSL.com and they have had a great time having boys club and playing restaurant in it. dfder7uy

Summertime.....

We have been taking advantage of the summer days and enjoying our awesome backyard. We also went to Tracy Aviary with the boys. Wes loved the bird shows, and Elijah just liked chasing the peacocks around.
