Happy Holidays 2012

We are so very grateful to for so many things this holiday season...foremost our family and friends. You enrich and brighten our lives and we love you!! Now for the yearly update about our family............ Weston...7 years old, second grade..is excited to turn 8 in February and is already telling everyone about his baptism date set the first Saturday in March. Weston started training in Tae Kwon Do this summer and has worked very hard and already earned three belts and is currently a green belt with blue stripe:) He is looking for ward to Black belt someday. Weston loves school and especially reading..he has read the entire Harry Potter series in the past two months and is looking for something else to start soon. Elijah...5 years old...Kindergarten...Elijah is the life spark of our family. He is so full of energy and enthusiasm it is hard to resist. He is enjoying Kindergarten and is becoming a very good reader like his brother:) He loves to practice Karate moves and hopes to begin training in Karate next year. He is also a huge baseball fan and has amasses quite a card collection and like to organize and reorganize it constantly. Adelaide (Addie) will be 2 on the 29th......She is such a sweet and bubbly little chatter box. She loves La La Loopsey...Strawberry Shortcake, and all baby dolls:) It is so fun to have a little girl around to soften all the crazy boy energy that we have running circles in our home. Addie loves to sing and dance and dress up as well, especially in her moms high heels:) Kyle...Dr.Jones:) Finished residency this past summer and has taken a position as a faculty member in the Family Medicine Residency program at the University of Utah. He is currently working at the Uni HOME program which is a clinic especially for adults and children with special needs of all kinds. He loves his job and is so thrilled to be done with school and training!! Becki...Still mostly a stay at home mom with brief stints of teaching Zumba, Pilates, and yoga, and working a few days a months as a Speech Pathologist. She is also very happy that Kyle is done with Residency:) 2012 has been a wonderful year for us and we are so very thankful for all the blessings and fabulous people in our lives..Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New year!!

The Homestretch

The last 6 months have cruised by for us with much craziness and fun! Kyle now has only 4 months left of residency and is currently interviewing for jobs:) It is so exciting to have the light at the end of the tunnel looking very bright. We are excited for the future and grateful for all the things we have learned in this journey.
The kiddos continue to grow. Wes turned 7 last month and is now the proud owner of a Beta fish named Aqua. He is thriving in first grade and loves to read. Elijah is enjoying preschool and loves to do action moves and do whatever his older brother thinks is "cool." Addie is a sweet and very girlish girl. She loves dolls and playing in her kitchen, and mostly loves to be mom's shadow. Kyle is thrilled for baseball season to be starting soon and so looking forward to having weekends off. Becki is still teaching Zumba,Pilates and Yoga and enjoying being a mom...most days;) Just wanted to share a few pics for our out of town friends to see what we are up to.

Another 4th of July of fire works and apple pie:) The boys were excited about t-shirts I found for them that have Yoda wearing flag sunglasses. Addie was a little scared of the loud firework noise and we celebrated without both sets of parents which felt a little like living out of state again. Thankfully we did get to spend time with Kyle's grandma and siblings.

Lucky me I got to be one of the volunteer moms for field day:) It was freezing so they had to cancel the water activities even though it was June:( Wes had a fun time with his friends and it was a great way to end the kindergarten year:)

Elijah 4 year old Birthday!!!

Our Elijah is four years old!! Elijah is such joy for our family, he has a zest for life that no one can match and he is already turning out to be the family comedian. so grateful he is ours! We had a small party this year and were able to recycle the Starwars decorations for the 3rd time:) I had created a jedi training obstacle course and Elijah didn't actually want to do it he just wanted to watch everyone else:)
