So the other day I popped some pop corn for the girls and put on a movie. About ten minutes later Ella came up asking to go outside, I thought this was a little odd seeing how they were watching Thumbalina, the fav movie right now. Anyways I discovered that she had a fistful of popcorn kernels, She was actually on her way to plant some popcorn trees. I then shared how once I had planted a dollar In hopes that a money tree would grow, but nothing came of it. She got a good chuckle about that. Then we talked where popcorn actually comes from.

Some pictures from the 4th
We had such a nice 4th of July. To started out our day we went to Menan Days. It was kind of an old school celebration. They had dunk tanks, three legged races, and foot races. Ella was brave and ran in the five year old girl race and came in second.. Kade ran in the 30 and over category and won. The girls also got their faces painted as you can see, Ella's pick a fairy I could have predicted, Ava's on the other hand and eagle not so much. It was awesome.
Harper was just happy to be out and about..

The love of sisters
I grew up in a family of all girls, so everytime I see mine, (girls) I get nostalgic. My girls play so well together it really is so fun to watch. They even have little inside jokes now. I see hours of Barbies, Dolls, Dancing and Dress-up in my future. I also see hours of fighting and not getting along at all, putting it quite lightly. I am sure you get the point. And even tho there are days when I am so tired of all the emotional stuff that seems to come along with girls, I have to say that I am in heaven. Like the song says thank heaven for little girls. They are such a delite to me. Always picking flowers from the yard and making bouquets . Always there are little love notes on my bed. Always there are Barbies dancing at the ball and falling madly in love with the prince. Always, Mom watch my dance, watch me twirl. The sweet thing is I remember doing the same thing to my mom. Another sweet thing is I know where they are heading. Friends for life. What could be better. Here are just some pictures of their history together.

land of the free and the home of the brave

The fourth of July is one of my all time favorite holidays. I am so grateful for the sacrifices made on my behalf. I have always loved history, But love love love American history because the lords hand was in it. We are truly blessed to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. May I live brave and always fight not only for my freedom but for the freedom of others. Happy fourth everyone.
