Ski

 Ivan joined the ski club this year. He has LOVED it. Really learned and grew a lot. It was only 4 weeks, but I think he may be addicted. That's him on the ski lift with a buddy.

 One week had to be canceled, rescheduled. They rescheduled it for a Friday the kids were off. So, Curtis and Trinity joined him on the slopes. Well, they went too. Ivan did his thing while Trinity and Curtis did theirs. A good time was had by all though.

Sometimes I miss home. And then something pops up on facebook that makes me both miss and remember it. Love this picture of the Lorain Lighthouse.

Dinosaur Museum

Had a family day at the museum of Idaho to see the dino exhibit. Kids of course liked it. It was pretty cool and fun. 

 This dinosaur is a bit larger than the kids, especially considering this is only the leg!

Temple

How amazing are the youth in our ward?! All these kids got up on a Saturday to be at the temple at 6 am to do baptisms for the dead. How awesome are they? It was so neat to see some of these kids do them for the first time. To see some of the older ones baptize for the first time, especially siblings. And, it was neat to see some of the first wolves that I had there doing them.

FROYO Bubble Bar

We have a place here in Rigby that sells froyo. You put it in the cup, add your toppings and pay by weight. They also sell bubble waffles. It opened forever ago and I've never taken the kids. SO, since today is another snow day, I thought it would be fun to hit it up. Went after lunch. Unfortunately they wouldn't open for another hour. So, we went home and headed back after dinner. 

Snow Day

Woke up this morning to snow. Snow and wind. Did I mention wind?

I got up at 5 for the gym then decided I didn't want to venture out in it. 

I layed there listening to the wind, when Curtis called to say he was coming home. He got to the bus stop to be told bus couldn’t get there. Either catch it in IF (way too late for that) or drive. He says visibility is pretty low so he’s not driving out. He decided to just come home and try to head to work in like 2 hours or so. I layed there forever waiting for him to get home. I waited for 40+ minutes for him to get home from his 15 minutes away bus stop. He said roads were horrid. He's giving up on the 2 hour delay and just staying home. Obviously with the weather, schools are cancelled too. Fun day home with all the family. Yippee.

2nd Birthday

 Celebrating this boys birthday again. Since we rushed out last night to watch the girls dance, we didn't have the chance to do the whole cake thing. So, we did it today.

We had an ice cream pizza thing and cheesecake for him.

Dance

We rushed out of the house after Ivan opened his presents and headed to a dance performance. For both girls. It was fun to watch both my sweeties dance in the same night.

Happy Birthday Ivan!

 Seems my family just keeps growing up. Ivan is now the big 11.

 I can't believe he is getting so old. How did that happen? He is a super fun kid. He's crazy and weird and full of life. He has a heart of gold and cares about everyone.
