December Cakes

December was a slow cake month. But I enjoyed the ones I did do. 

 This cake was for a friend and her office work party. It was a contest and I won (or she won). She claims I am now an award winning cake decorator.

Family Games/New Year's Eve

Family game time. We had fun playing a few games together after church. 

 She's a bit silly.

 Did a shortened version of Dominoes too. We only let Daphne stay up until about 9, she needed sleep after being at Grandma's. The rest of us barely made it to midnight. Ok, Curtis and I barely did, I think the kids had more energy than we did.

Nielsen Family Christmas

More Christmas. This time with all the Nielsen family. We do a cousin gift exchange for the kids. 

 These two girls get along so well. I'm so glad Daphne has someone her age. Wish my older two did too.

 Zaden loves babies and littles. He asked Victor to sit on his lap. Only lasted a second though.

 Playing Grandma's candy bar game. She puts a stack in the middle (a huge one as  you can see), you roll the dice and if you get doubles you get to pick a candy bar.

As an added bonus for the day, Darla, Aubrey, Trinity and I went and saw the greatest showman! Finally. We were nice and early, thank goodness, it sure did fill up. It was well worth the wait. 

Burley Christmas

We headed to Grandma's to celebrate Christmas again. The kids had a fun time getting more presents. 

 Trinity and Aubrey decided to try their hand at painting. They got some canvas and paints and downloaded a Bob Ross tutorial and learned to paint. If you can get past Trinity's tongue, you can see how beautiful her art work is.

Movie

Yesterday Trinity and I went to see the greatest showman. BUT its start time was listed wrong online.
Today we went to the 1:30 show. BUT it was sold out.
So we went to the 4:30 show. BUT it was sold out.
We are not attempting the 7:30 show.

Target Practice

How is this little man sleeping? 

 Ivan got a new gun for Christmas so we had to try it out and of course use him as target practice.

Christmas Family Bonding

Family gathered at our house for some Christmas dinner and games. We played a new game Trinity got, 'telesrations'. It was hilarious! SO fun. 

Dinner was great. The kids had fun playing and all in all, it was a great day. Some pictures to commemorate our fun times.
