July Cakes

Did a few cakes this month. Some stressed me a bit more than others, but overall, I loved doing them.

 This one was for a 3rd anniversary celebration. I guess for year 3, the traditional wedding present is leather, so the bride requested a leather themed cake. I did a leather purse, leather wallet and leather belt on a leather covered cake.

 Oh dear. Talk about stress! This cake about did me in. Curtis was on a business trip when it was due so I was on my own. I survived though and was so happy with how it turned out.

 An Oregon Ducks fan had a birthday.

I had a cake tasting the day before the quincinerra cake was due, so I had lots of cake for them to taste. Plus, I made the cakes they wanted to taste. LOTS of cake in my house.

Birthday. Candle was fixed to stand straighter, but I didn't get pictures after doing that.

Last Soccer Game

Last night was Ivan's last soccer game. It is a short season, only 6 games but it has been VERY hot so I am ok with being done. For his last game he chose to wear two different socks.

 Trinity was tired. She had an activity day activity all day, 9-2:30 then swim lessons right after then after a couple minutes of sitting got to go to soccer. She slept good.

 Baby boy was tired but refusing to nap. Curtis got to take a turn.

 This one decided it was so hot, she might as well sit on my lap and drive me nuts while overheating me.

 He really needs to work on focus. But he enjoys playing.

Dr. Visit

Took this cute boy to the dr. yesterday for his 4 month check up. My big boy is not really that big at all. He is:

13.8 lbs - only 26%

25.1 inches - 63%

Tall and skinny!

And Cute.

 Apparently shots though give my baby a little fever and make him sleepy. He has been extra cuddly today, and even took a binky! He snuggled in and fell asleep all cuddled up. I LOVED it. I cuddled as long as I could, in other words, until my oven went off telling me my cake was done.

Sad

Daphne: because he doesn't want to.

Yuck

Victor was there, Trin's toe was there. He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. So, fits that it too would end up in his mouth. She said it tickled. I say yuck!

Huckleberry Picking

Today I did a first. Went huckleberry picking. Kate invited us to go, so we did. Keri is in town so her crew joined us too. Dan was unable to make it this time.

 Oh this girl. She was not into picking too much. So, we sat out. Keri hadn't brought tennis shoes, so she offered to sit by the car with Victor. Daph and I joined her as picking was not the funnest for a 3 year old.
