AirBorn

Daphne took her first plane ride to go and see her Ohio family. She did FANTASTIC on the plane ride. We got up super early and caught a 6 am flight to Denver. She slept the whole plane ride, she was one tired girly. Then we landed and had 2 hours to kill in Denver airport. Gave me time to get something to eat, feed Daphne and give her time to kick her legs a bit. Here she is enjoying her time on the airport floor.

The flight to Cleveland was equally as good. I was able to switch seats and be in a row with only one other person, so we had a seat between us and Miss D was able to once again stretch out and kick her legs. She had a bottle on the flight and went to sleep, once again for the whole time.
The drive home was another story. The tears came out and so did the screaming. Oh, this finger sucking thing is new. These pictures are in the car on the way home, before the screaming started.
Uncle Dave fell in love pretty quick. He was a nice place for Daphne to fall asleep on.
So, I am a little more confident with the flight home. Hopefully we will have another uneventful and non screaming flight.

Brave Girl

Trinity is now 8, which in our church means she can start going to something called activity days. It is a program for girls 8-11. They meet twice a month and do crafts, learn about things, serve others and just do fun things together. Well, they were having a recognition night to highlight the girls and have the girls do a talent. Trinity was invited but told that she didn't have to do anything since she is new to the program. However, my little miss wanted to do something. She decided to sing, "I am a Child of God."
So my little Trinity got up there, infront of that room full of people and sang to them. Can I just tell you she did a fantastic job. You could tell she was a little nervous, but wow, I am so impressed with her for even doing it. I would not have had the guts at 8, heck I don't now, to get up infront of so many and do that.
Just more proof of how amazing she is growing up and getting so big.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend. It was great due to the blessing and baptism, but also because it was filled with family. We just had time to play and have fun together. Sadly, I took like no pictures this weekend. Here are a couple I did get.

So happy and glad when we can be together as family and play. I am thankful for all I have and for family. Lovin' life.

Trinity's Baptism

My baby got baptized today. I guess that means she officially isn't my baby any more huh. It was a wonderful day. She looked gorgeous, and all went well.

 Trinity and Daddy
 Trinity with her parents
One happy Eternal Family. Don't mind the goofy kid faces, they can't be serious to save their lives!

Me and my girls!

Daphne's Blessing

As a part of the baptism, we also were able to bless Daphne. We thought it would be a good time since the family was already here. Curtis gave her a beautiful blessing and she was such an angel, she fell asleep during it. I love this little lady and am so glad she joined our family.

I just love her big eyes.

Baptism/Blessing Guests

4 out of my dad's siblings along with his parents came to celebrate with us.
Sharon, RaNae, Grandpa, Alaina, Grandma, and Brad
Grandpa and Grandma N, Anastastia (foreign exchange student from Ukraine), Aubrey, mom, dad, Danica and Jordan also joined us.
The kids being goofy. That is Jess's neice Brinlee on the far right.

Look, same height. With Trinity standing on a lower step!
What he is doing I don't know.
We also had a few guests that left right after the baptism instead of joining us for lunch. And we had some far away guests. I got permission to skype the whole thing, the baptism and blessing for my family back in Ohio to see. How cool is that? My parents and brother got to be apart of my girls' special day. I LOVE technology. 1500 miles just got a whole lot closer and were non existant this day.

Baptism Cake

We decided in light of everything else going on over the weekend to keep Trinity's baptism cake nice and simple. So we just did the CTR logo. Trinity wanted it to be purple though. So, here she has a nice marbly fondant with a purple CTR shield.

Saucy!

Curtis insisted that Daphne was big enough for the saucer. So he pulled it out last weekend while I wa gone. While I still think she is small for it, I have to admit, he was kind of right. I just can't believe she actually fits in it!

Jump Jump

How do you entertain yourself for at least an hour on a Saturday morning? At my house we jump over stacked up toilet paper. Over and over and over again! Sorry the pictures are blurry and there are so many of them, but I just really liked them.

Last night Trinity Nielsen and her friends wanted to have a get together before one left for most of the summer. They wanted to sleep in th...
